    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cement composition containing an additive for a cement composition which is intended to improve pump pushing characteristics, to prevent bleeding, to improve the workability, to secure resistance to material separation, and to reduce dust and splash during concrete spraying required to a cement composition, and which has excellent storage stability and suffers neither a significant viscosity increase nor gelation even when stored for a long time.
      SOLUTION: The cement composition comprises an additive for the cement composition containing a component (A) a polycarboxylic acid based copolymer and/or salts thereof, a component (B) a water-soluble cellulose ether having a solution viscosity 50-27,800 mPa. s for 2.0% by weight aqueous solution at 20°C, and a component (C) a defoaming agent. The cement composition produces an excellent effects of preventing bleeding, improving workability, securing resistance to material separation, and decreasing dust and splash during concrete spraying required to the cement composition such as paste, mortar, and concrete. In addition, the additive which is added to the cement composition excels in long-term storage stability.

The binder consists of 50 to 99.5 wt.% nonionic water-soluble hydroxyalkyl alkylcellulose powder having ≥5000 mPa.s viscosity in 1 wt.% aq. soln. at 20°C and having the particle size which can pass through a mesh of JIS sieve 26 (600 μm), and 0.5 to 50 wt.% of one or more kinds of coagulating water-soluble polymers showing a coagulating effect for the cement in the coexistence of the nonionic water-soluble hydroxyalkyl alkylcellulose.
