摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow efficient work for connecting resin pipes to each other in an excavating construction area.
SOLUTION: A weld joint clamping device is provided for fixing the pair of resin pipes P1 to each other when heat-welding and connecting them to each other via a socket S in the excavating construction area. It includes two sets of front and rear grip parts 10 having a pair of right and left main and sub clamp arms 11, 12 to be moved down from the upper side into the excavating construction area and externally fitted to both resin pipes P1, respectively, and a connection part 40 for connecting and fixing the grip parts 10 to each other. The grip parts 10 have clampers 14 for closing the main and sub clamp arms 11, 12 to clamp the resin pipes, respectively. The main and sub clamp arms 11, 12 have circular clamp portions 11B, 12B for embracing the resin pipes P1. On the loose end side of each of the circular clamp portions 11B, 12B, a cutout portion 30 is formed having a predetermined width W.
