摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulation cover for a power transmission line easily to be attached to a power transmission line and capable of preventing a corrosion of the power transmission line, and also capable of maintaining excellent insulation quality between the power transmission line and its outside.SOLUTION: A cover in a cylindrical shape to be attached to a power transmission line comprises: a body part 2 having an opening 2a at its bottom end continuing along the axial direction; a plurality of projections 5 arranged on the external surface of the body part 2. The opening 2a of the body part 2, in the state where the cover is mounted to the power transmission line, is made so as to maintain a gap between a pair of end edges forming the opening 2a. The plurality of projections 5 are each disposed on both sides of a center plane 1s which is a plane including a central axis 2c of the body part 2 and passing through the opening 2a of the body part 2. All of the projections 5 are formed so that their top edges are located below the top edge of the body part 2.
