    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-resistant cloth having high dust-collection efficiency, high rigidity and high airflow quantity and especially suitable for the use under a high-temperature and high-load conditions without deteriorating the excellent properties of polytetrafluoroethylene fiber and provide a pleated bag filter and a method for producing the heat-resistant cloth.
      SOLUTION: The heat-resistant cloth has a fluororesin fiber web having a fiber diameter of ≥20 μm and integrally laminated to both surfaces of a scrim made of metallic wires wherein at least a part of the fiber is fibrillated. The method for producing the heat-resistant cloth comprises the lamination of a fluororesin fiber web having a fiber diameter of ≥20 μm on both surfaces of a scrim made of metallic wires, the water-jet punching treatment on one surface under a maximum water pressure of 7.8-14.7 MPa and and the water-jet punching treatment on the other surface under a maximum water pressure of 17.6-24.5 MPa to integrate the layers.
