    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide auxiliary equipment for penetration of a cutting edge of a caisson and the like, which enable hard ground to be efficiently modified into soft ground by using a relatively simple constitution, and which enable the modification of the ground, conventionally hidden from view, on the periphery of the cutting edge of the caisson.
      SOLUTION: In a caisson construction method, a caisson skeleton 3, where the cutting edge 2 of the caisson is formed at its leading end, is provided in an immersed state; mud R inside the caisson skeleton 3 is excavated and discharged; a skeleton 4 is added above the caisson skeleton 3; and a caisson shaft 5 with a predetermined depth is constructed. The auxiliary equipment for the penetration of the cutting edge of the caisson, which is used for the caisson construction method, comprises: a core head 20 for substantially performing auxiliary operations for the penetration; a traveling base 22 which travels on a guide rail 21 in the state of holding the core head 20; a guide frame 24 which is integrated with the guide rail 21; a travel driving motor 25 for driving the traveling base 22; a plurality of frame fixing means 26 which are arranged in the guide frame 24 at regular intervals, so as to fix the guide frame 24 to an inner wall surface 23 of the caisson skeleton 3; and a frame hanging means 44 for holding the guide frame 24 in a hanging manner.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic unit for controlling a wire sawing apparatus, which can quickly cope with troubles when stoppage or idle running of a driving pulley occurs. SOLUTION: The hydraulic unit is connected to the wire sawing apparatus provided with a cutting wire, a driving pulley for driving the cutting wire, and a hydraulic motor for driving the driving pulley for rotation, and functions to control the hydraulic motor. The hydraulic unit is provided with a pressure sensor for detecting hydraulic pressure of pressure oil from the hydraulic unit and converting the detected oil pressure into an oil pressure value F, and a control device connected to the pressure sensor, for monitoring the oil pressure value. In the control device, a maximally loaded oil pressure value F max that is an oil pressure value when driving of the wire is stopped due to resistance of a cutting object, and a no-load applied oil pressure value F min that is an oil pressure value when the wire slips out of the driving pulley, are set beforehand, and when the oil pressure value F falls in the range of F≥F max or F≤F min , the hydraulic unit is stopped.
