      SOLUTION: According to the structure of the window shutter device, a pair of rails 2 are arranged so as to vertically extend on both sides of a window frame 1, and both sides of a shutter 3 are slidably supported by the rails 2, respectively, followed by arranging an opening/closing operating bar 4 at a lower end of the shutter 3. Then locking fittings 6 are arranged on both ends of the operating bar 4, which locking fittings engage with locking pins 5 arranged in lower ends of the rails 2, respectively, when the shutter 3 is closed, to thereby inhibit the operating bar 4 from moving upward. Further a rockable lock canceling bar 22 is arranged on an indoor side of the operating bar 4, which lock canceling bar cancels locking of the locking fittings 6. Furthermore a sub-lock 30 is arranged on an indoor side of the operating bar 4, which sub-lock 30 functions to inhibit the lock canceling bar 22 from rocking in a lock canceling direction, and therefore rocking operation of the lock canceling bar 22 by tampering from outside a building can be prevented.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide latch lock which allows the user to clearly discriminate between a used state and an unused state of a room through a simple structure.
      SOLUTION: According to the structure of the slide latch lock, a small-diameter coil spring 60 is mounted between a latch support body 10 and a latch 30 of the slide latch lock 1, and the spring 60 is adjusted such that bending deflection becomes larger as the latch 30 approaches from a sliding lateral edge to a sliding center. Thus by virtue of energization of the spring 60, the latch 30 slides on the latch support body to an extreme right or left end without stopping at a halfway position during sliding operation. Therefore a display plate on the outside of a room rotated in interlock with the sliding of the latch 30 does not stop its rotation at the halfway position, and displays only one of a used state display section and an unused state display section in a display window, which allows the user to clearly discriminate whether the room is used or not. An energizing direction of the latch 30 is switched when the latch passes the sliding center as a reference. Further the present slide latch lock 1 is set up only by installing the spring 60 therein, and therefore it is simple in structure and low in manufacturing cost.

When the portable apparatus 4 receives the radio wave from the reader 3 and responds with the ID signal, remaining battery power is measured so that a determination result thereof is transmitted along with the ID signal. On the other hand, the reader 3 issues a caution about battery shut-off from notification means on the basis of the received determination result. Thus, battery shut-off of the portable apparatus 4 is recognized to urge a user to exchange the battery.
