      SOLUTION: A thumb-turn shaft 21 is inserted into a fixed cylinder 18 supported on a side plate of a lock case 1, and an end section of the thumb-turn shaft 21 is connected with a turnable cylinder cam 7 interlocked with a dead bolt. A torque transmitting cylinder 22 is fitted externally on the thumb-turn shaft 21, and a knob 23 is connected with the torque transmission cylinder 22. A pair of push-buttons 24 are supported by the knob 23. When the thumb-turn knob 23 is turned without pressing the push-buttons 24 inside to turn the torque transmitting cylinder 22 turning together with the knob 23 relatively to the thumb-turn shaft 21, a clutch 25 connects the thumb-turn shaft 21 with the fixed cylinder 18 for whirl stop of the thumb-turn shaft 21.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a structure of a cylinder lock capable of being opened without use of a duplicated key by rotatively operating an emergency unlocking handle, and to rapidly lock the handle in an unlocking position.
      SOLUTION: An unlocking pin 13 elongated in a radial direction is fixed to an output shaft 12 of the cylinder lock 1, and inserted through a guide hole 34 of the emergency unlocking handle 30. When the handle 30 is turned in the unlocking direction, the pin 13 is pushed to a hole edge, and the output shaft 12 is turned to enable unlocking without use of the duplicated key. A lock plate 50 is incorporated slidably in the directions of front and back sides between the handle 30 and a cylinder body 20, and urged in the direction of the front side; and a claw 32 facing the front of the plate 50 is formed on the inner periphery of the handle 30. When the handle 30 is turned in the unlocking direction, the claw 32 is locked by being engaged with a lock portion 54, which is provided in the plate 50, in the unlocking position, so as to disable reverse turning in a locking direction. The structurally-simple and easy-to-assemble cylinder lock is rapidly shut only by turning the handle 30 in the unlocking direction.
