      SOLUTION: A digital copying machine 10 is equipped with two pairs of supporting members 20a and 25 obtained by pairing two adjacent legs 21 out of four legs 21. The member 20a is equipped with an elastic member 22 at a position between the back surface of the copying machine 10 and the frame 27 of the member 20a at the upper part of the leg 21, and also has a piercing- through port 28 in which a turning shaft 23 is inserted. The shaft 23 is inserted in the port 28 of the member 20a and the piercing-through port 28' of a supporting angle 26, and the member 20a is turnably supported with respect to the angle 26.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer agitating member with high mixing efficiency imparting small amount of stress to toner in agitation, a developing device provided with it and an image forming apparatus provided with the developing device. The twisting cycles of the inner spiral wings 52 and the outer spiral wings 53 are respectively set to be 1 and 1/12.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive image forming apparatus which prevents developer falling on an outer cover from further falling outside through a gap and, therefore, prevents a floor or paper stored in a paper feed desk device from being soiled.
      SOLUTION: A front cover 105 has receiving portions 53 and 54 for holding toner caused to fall. The receiving portions 53 and 54 are disposed near an image forming device main body and below a processing unit (developing devices 2a to 2c, process unit 80) attached/detached to/from the image forming device main body when the cover 105 is opened/closed. With regard to a pedestal for placing the processing unit thereon, an inner cover 68 is disposed on an edge opposite the front cover 105 such that the pedestal further projects in a direction in which the processing unit is taken out than the edge of the pedestal in the receiving portion 54. The inner cover 68 is disposed nearer to the front cover in a closed state than the placed processing unit and higher than the receiving portion 54.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compactly contain a pick up means in the side face of an image processing device even if the pick up means is provided with a protective cover.
      SOLUTION: The protective cover 281 turnably provided on the side face side of an image formation device and the pick up means 280 are provided with hook sections 34 and 30 respectively. The protective cover 281, the turning centers G and H of the pick up means 280 and the hook sections 34 and 30 are arranged such that when the protective cover 281 is made to turn from an operating position (a) toward a position where the pick up means is contained from in the side face of the image processing device, the hook sections 34 and 30 are engaged only in an area S from a specified locus cross section 3x to the side face side of the image formation. In the case where the pick up means 280 does not feed a sheet, the pick up means 280 is made to stop at an engagement starting position (a), where the hook section 30 becomes the locus cross section 3x, and in the case where the pick up means 280 feeds a sheet, the pick up means 280 moves to the operating position (c). The protective cover 281 is constituted so as to turn interlocking with the turning of a paper sheet feeding tray, which is not shown in the figure, turnably provided on the side face side of the image formation device.

      SOLUTION: In a mechanism for energizing the pick up means 280, which is turnably provided on the side face side of the image formation device, by transmitting the drive force from the drive source, the pick up means, when positioned at an operation position (c) where a sheet is fed and at a standby position (a) where a sheet is not fed, is energized by drive force, and when positioned at a position between the standby position (a) and a containing position (b) where the paper sheet is contained in the side face of the image formation device, the pick up means can be turned in the range of play M provided in the connection section with the side of the drive source.
