    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promptly generate an alarm for an action by an invader or the like while permitting the release of an alarm mode by a specific action without using a dedicated device.
      SOLUTION: A security system firstly detects door opening and closing and detects as to whether or not the door is open and closed again within a detection retaining time. The system determines the presence of an abnormal situation when door is not opened and closed within the time and issues the alarm, and when the door is opened and closed within the time, the system detects as to whether or not the door is opened and closed three times in total within a releasable time. When the door is opened and closed three times within the releasable time, the system determines that the actions are done in a specific pattern, and releases the alarm mode. When there are door opening/closing actions of other than 3 times, it indicates that the actions are not done in the specified pattern, it is decided to be an abnormal situation and the system issues the alarm.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a matrix substrate for a display device in which generation of leakage and short-circuit between terminal sections are prevented by employing simple manufacturing processes.
      SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the substrate for display devices includes the processes of: forming circuit elements on the substrate; forming an interlayer insulating layer that covers the elements; forming hydrophilic regions and water-repellent regions on the inter layer insulating layer with a prescribed pattern; and selectively forming an electrically conductive layer on the hydrophilic regions using hydrophilic electrically conductive material on the interlayer insulating layer. The hydrophilic regions have a plurality of hydrophilic sections each surrounded by water-repellent regions. The plurality of hydrophilic sections includes a plurality of first hydrophilic sections that are provided corresponding to a plurality of pixel electrodes, a plurality of second hydrophilic sections that are provided corresponding to a plurality of terminal sections and a plurality of third hydrophilic regions that are provided between arbitrarily adjacent terminal sections among the plurality of the terminal sections. Moreover, a process is provided for forming the water-repellent regions in which the width of the regions located between the arbitrarily adjacent hydrophilic sections of the plurality of the hydrophilic sections is made equal to or less than 30 μm.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a functional panel having both of reliability and portability and to provide a method for manufacturing a functional panel so as to manufacture the functional panel with high productivity. SOLUTION: A functional element substrate 10 produced by forming a barrier layer 2 and a functional element layer 3 on a glass substrate 1 is laminated with a color filter layer 20 produced by forming a barrier layer 12 and a color filter layer 13 on a glass substrate 11 with a liquid crystal layer 25 interposed. Then the thickness of the substrate 1 is reduced and the substrate 1 is adhered to a belt type base sheet 6 having flexibility. While the base sheet 6 is moved, processes of reducing the thickness of the substrate 11, connecting a substrate 27, sticking a cover film 16 and cutting the base sheet 6 are continuously carried out. Since these processes are continuously carried out while the base sheet 6 is moved, the productivity is improved.
