    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of an optical pickup device that prevents swelling of an adhesive onto a condenser lens surface. SOLUTION: The optical pickup device includes a condenser lens 16 for condensing light from a light source on an irradiation object, and a lens holder 15 for supporting the condenser lens. A plurality of notches 16A are formed in the radial-direction outer circumferential part of the condenser lens 16. The notches 16A are opened on a contact surface side between the outer circumferential part of the condenser lens 16A and the lens holder 15. Two cut surfaces of the notch 16A facing each other in a circumferential direction have a wedge shape symmetrical to each other when seen from the outer circumferential side of the condenser lens.
