摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen device which is equipped with a pair of upper and lower slide frames protrudable to/withdrawable from gaps between upper and lower edges of a screen and the interior of a stile member, wherein the screen device is excellent in design and rigid in structure.
SOLUTION: A guide frame 10 of the screen device is formed of: a horizontal fixed frame 11 which has a U-shaped cross section and is fixed to a head 2; and a movable frame 12 which has an upper guide rail 20 arranged on a lower surface 12a thereof, is stored in the horizontal fixed frame 11 in a manner displaceable in a predetermined vertical range, and has an almost U-shaped cross section opening upward. Herein the overall body of the movable frame 12 of the guide frame 10 is always housed in a space inside an opening surface connecting between lower edges of a pair of side walls 11b, 11b in the horizontal fixed frame 11 irrespective of the displaced location thereof, and covered with the horizontal fixed frame 11.

First and second holding members 10 and 20 detachable from the upper and lower ends of the screen 5, are detachably held by upper and lower horizontal frames 7 and 8 of a building opening 1. The second holding member 20 is constituted by a cross rail 21 capable of vertically slidably guiding along a slide groove 6b of the vertical frame 6, and also the first holding member 10 is constituted by an opening cover 11 which is a part of the upper horizontal frame 7. Consequently, the screen held by the opening cover is formed so as to be drawn outside by turning with a guide bar 13 of which guide surface is positioned on an extending line of the screen stretched between the slits of the vertical frame.
