    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an obstacle detection system for a shutter capable of improving reliability of a harm prevention function of the shutter.SOLUTION: An obstacle detection system 30 detects an obstacle to a shutter curtain which opens or closes an opening section. The obstacle detection system 30 comprises: a seat plate switch 31 which detects existence of the obstacle, at the opening section 1, interfering a closing performance of the shutter curtain 12; a transmitter 32 which transmits, by radio, an obstacle detection state signal including information indicating a detection state of the obstacle by the seat plate switch 31; and a receiver 33 which receives the obstacle detection state signal by radio. The transmitter 32 has a first transmission section which transmits the obstacle detection state signal with a predetermined first frequency range; and a first receiving section which receives a predetermined signal with a predetermined second frequency range different from the first frequency range. The receiver 33 has a second receiving section which receives the obstacle detection state signal with the first frequency range and a second transmission section which transmits the predetermined signal with the second frequency range.

Between the control device and other devices, wiring for signal input from the devices is formed. In the control device, the second terminal is electrically separated from a signal return side signal ground of the wiring at least during an opened state of the contact.
