    • PURPOSE:To enable concrete to be exactly directed to given positions and to be placed in water in a freely dropping manner by a method in which a concrete mixed with a thickening agent is placed into a netting chute set in water. CONSTITUTION:A chute 1 made of a metal netting and having a round cross section is hung down and fixed 2 at a place where concrete is to be placed in water. The upper end of the chute 1 is connected with a charging port 3 with a vinyl chloride sheet chute 4. Concrete 5 is charged from the charging port 3 above the water surface 6, and directed in water through the chutes 4 and 1 until it reaches the bottom 8. The concrete 5 passes through the mesh of the chute 1 in order under its own weight, comes out of the chute 1, and fills up the area of the placing position to complete the placement of concrete. The concrete 5 to be used contains a thickening agent.

    • PURPOSE:To maintain the strength of underwater concrete as well as to prevent the occurrence of pollution by a method in which concrete mixed with a thickening agent is placed and concrete without thickening agent is placed below said concrete. CONSTITUTION:A formwork 2 is erected on the foundation 1 to an extent that the upper end of the formwork 2 is slightly exposed from the water surface 3, and a concrete 5 mixed with a thickening agent is placed on the formwork 2 through a tremie tube 4. The tip 7 of the tremie tube 4 is pierced through the concrete 5 and then concrete 6 containing no thickening agent is placed through the tremie tube 4. The resistance of the concrete 5 containing thickening agent against shearing deformation is increased, and therefore, the blow-out of the concrete 6 through the concrete 5 toward the upper part is avoided and the pillar of ordinary concrete 6 can be placed below the viscous concrete 5 having nearly uniform thickness.
