摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal device capable of performing various voice output with consideration for user property and preference, and a control method of the terminal device.SOLUTION: A terminal device is disclosed. The terminal device comprises: a voice collection unit for collecting user voice; a communication unit for transferring the collected user voice to an external server and receiving response information corresponding to the user voice; a voice conversion unit for converting the response information into a voice signal; a voice output unit for outputting the converted voice signal; and a control unit for analyzing at least one of a frequency and a tone color of the collected user voice and converting the response information into a voice signal having a voice property corresponding to the analysis result.

The present external input control method is configured to: set a call word of an external input device connected through the external input terminal; store the call word and the external input terminal corresponding to the call word by matching the call word to the external input terminal; when a user voice is input, recognize the user voice and determine whether or not the call word is included in the user voice; and, when the call word is included in the user voice, activate the external input terminal corresponding to the call word and display an image to be received from the external input terminal corresponding to the call word.
