      SOLUTION: A head parking ramp 100 for the information storage device parks a read/write head at a position out of a disk 20. The head parking ramp 100 includes a fixed portion 110 fixed to a base member and an extended portion 130 extending from the fixed portion toward the disk, and the extended portion 130 has a protruding surface 135 which protrudes from each of the disk facing surfaces of the extended portion at a position corresponding to the edge of the disk and restricts the vibration of the disk by the contact of the edge of the disk with the protrusing surface when the disk vibrates.

The hook is provided with; a first part which contacts the first side face of the notch; a second part which extends from the latch arm and contacts the second side face of the notch; a third part which connects the first part with the second part; and a slot which is surrounded by the first, second and third parts and into which the front end part of the notch is inserted when the swing arm rotates in one direction.
