    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for transferring context during hand-over of a wireless mobile node in a wireless network in which unnecessary resource utilization of an access point is reduced while transferring the context of the wireless mobile node to the access point before information transfer in response to movement of the wireless mobile node.
      SOLUTION: The method includes steps of: setting transfer boundaries according to positions spaced from an initial access point (AP) to which the wireless mobile node is initially connected, and determining peripheral AP types based upon the set transfer boundaries; and, prior to hand-over of the wireless mobile node in response to its movement, transferring a service context while making the context transfer policies different from each other according to the determined AP types among the peripheral APs arranged in the moving direction of the wireless mobile node.

SOLUTION: A method for authenticating address ownership using a Care-of Address (CoA) binding protocl includes: a step (S13) where a mobile node (MN) 10 transmits a list of correspondent nodes (CN) 40 to register CoA to a home agent 30 (S13); a step (S14) where the home agent30 (S14)produces a random number (RN), encrypts the random number using a secret key (SS(HN)) and transmits the encrypted random number to the mobile node 10; a step (S16) where the home agent 30 acquires a public key (PK(CN)) based on the list of correspondent nodes 40, encrypts first information required for authenticating the mobile node 10 and transmits the encrypted first information to the correspondent node 40; a step (S18) where the mobile node 10 piggybacks second information required for authenticating CoA ownership and transmits the second information to the correspondent node 40; and a step (S19) where the correspondent node 40 decodes the first information received from the home agent 30 using a secret key of the present machine, compares it with the second information to authenticate ownership of the corresponding mobile node 10.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for processing broadcast data in a mobile ad-hoc network with which reliability can also be improved while effectively utilizing a bandwidth.
      SOLUTION: The method includes determining if all of the packets have been received using a Latest Broadcast Count Number (NBC) and Broadcast Count Number (BC) from a transmitting node upon receipt of broadcast packets. The BC of the received broadcast packet is compared with a buffer size of the pertinent node if all of the broadcast packets transmitted from the transmitting node have been received. A hello packet for flushing buffer of the transmitting node is generated and transmitted to the transmitting node, the buffer of the pertinent node is flushed, and the neighbor table of the flushed buffer is updated, if the BC of the received broadcast packet exceeds the buffer size of the pertinent node.
