    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately grasp a tilt state of a disk by detecting a servo error according to a ratio between sizes of regenerative signals correspondent to reference patterns recorded on two positions separated from each other.
      SOLUTION: A balance operation part 70 operates the ratio between the size Ivf01 of a vf01 signal detected from a first synchronizing signal level detector 66 and the size Ivf03 of a vf03 signal detected from a second synchronizing level detector 68. A comparison part 72 compares a balance value K1 operated by the balance operation part 70 with a prescribed reference value K0 to output a difference Kt between two values. A land/groove detection part 76 inputs the regenerative signal, and detects whether a present track is a land track or a groove track, and a polarity inversion part 78 inverts a polarity of the difference value Kt outputted from the comparison part 72 according to the result. A tilt adjustment part 74 adjusts the tilt of the disk according to the polarity inverted difference value Kt outputted from the polarity inversion part 78.
