摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate removal by drawing of a plurality of wire harnesses connected to a junction box via connectors when scrapping a vehicle. SOLUTION: Connectors connected to branch terminals of the plurality of the wire harnesses respectively are fitted and locked to connector housings provided in a case of the junction box. The plurality of the connectors of each harness to which groups of wires are connected are brought together so that the groups of the wires are positioned not so as to interfere with groups of wires of another wire harness when the wire harnesses are removed by drawing in scrapping the vehicle, and thereby fitted and locked to the connector housings provided in the junction box. At the same time, the connectors of the wire harness are fitted and locked to the connector housings in the order of wire harness removal by drawing, starting from the connector housing on the near side in the drawing direction.

摘要： PURPOSE:To allow reduction of manhour in inspection work by providing a member for abutting on the retainer of a connector and pushing the retainer into a housing upon shifting of connector receiving part and inspecting part for the purpose of inspection. CONSTITUTION:By pulling a lever 6 after loading a connector onto a connector receiving part 4, a cam part 7 abuts on the rear end of an inspecting part 3 and shifts the inspecting part 3 toward the connector receiving part 4. By further pulling the lever 6, the inspecting part 3 and the receiving part 4 shift integrally. At that time, a protrusion on a pressing member 25 pushes a retainer (stopping member), temporarily stopped in the connector housing, into the housing. The reatainer is inserted completely into the housing thus achieving double stoppage of terminal metal. Consequently, the retainer is inserted positively and completely into the housing after conduction test of the connector. This constitution eliminates the need of troublesome work, simplifies manufacturing process of wire harness thus enhancing productivity.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inspect a terminal fixture to be surely inserted and surely mount a retainer by detecting the retainer to be protruded from an opening and then detecting the terminal fixture to be in an electrically conductive condition so that acceptance judgement can be made in inspection. SOLUTION: In inspection with a connector inspecting device 20, a retainer 22 is set in a semi-fitted condition, a connector 21 to be inspected is held by a connector holder 31 and an inspection part 32 is arranged near the holder 31 with a lever 33. A signal is transmitted to an inspection circuit via a retainer detection mechanism 34 to detect the retainer 22 to be protruded (semi-fitted) from a housing 23. After the retainer 22 is identified to be uncompletely mounted, the connector 21 is inspected so that the inspection of the retainer 22 in an unreasonably fitted condition can be avoided at the stage of assembling the connector and rework for inserting a terminal fixture can be easily done because the retainer 22 is easily removable. In this way, the terminal fixture is inspected to be surely inserted and the retainer 22 is surely mounted.

SOLUTION: A positioning unit 20 to position a grommet G is provided. Additionally, an inspection unit 30 relatively displaceable from a positioning unit 20 is provided. The positioning unit 20 positions the inspection unit 30 in such a state to release the specified portion G4 of the grommet G. The inspection unit 30 approaches the specified portion G4 by a displacement 40 and propriety of an article number is inspected. Thus, since the specified portion G4 is positioned in a released state, inspection is effected without deformation during positioning. Thus, erroneous inspection due to deformation during positioning is reliably prevented from occurring. Further, because the specified portion G4 is released, the shape of the positioning unit 20 is simplified. Thus, a positioning work is facilitated and a machining cost of the positioning unit 20 is also reduced.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the efficient and highly accurate inspection of a lap part to be formed in a wire assembly by providing a pair of surrounding pieces which enable surrounding parts to be opened and closed so that the lap part may be radially attached and removed and detecting that both surrounding pieces are closed in a regular position. SOLUTION: A pair of surrounding pieces 11 and 12 are resin block bodies and are formed of composition planes 11A and 12A and surrounding parts 11B and 12B. At the time of inspecting the lap part of a wire assembly, the surrounding pieces 11 and 12 are first opened to introduce the lap part into the surrounding parts 11B and 12B from a radial direction. Next, the surrounding pieces 11 and 12 are closed, and a determining device determines GO/NO-GO of the lap part on the basis of a signal from a limit switch provided for each of the surrounding parts 11B and 12B, and the inspection of the lap part is simply and speedily performed. Then the surrounding pieces 11 and 12 locked by a lock mechanism is gripped and displaced along the length of the lap part, and the overall length of the diameter of the lap part is inspected.
