    • PURPOSE:To obtain a durable and inexpensive spraying device for cooling a high-temp. corrosive waste gas by enclosing a water feed pipe with the tip bent in the shape of an L in the gas flow direction and a spray nozzle at the tip of the feed pipe with a cylindrical L-shaped protective tube and vertically inserting the feed pipe and the nozzle into the passage of the high-temp. corrosive waste gas. CONSTITUTION:A lining 2 resistant to heat and acid is applied on the inner wall of a mild-steel shell 1 forming a gas passage, and the insertion port 3 of a spraying device is formed on the barrel part of the shell. As for the spraying device set in the insertion port 3, a spray nozzle 5 is connected to the tip of a water feed pipe 4 bent in the shape of an L in the gas flow downstream direction (shown by the void arrow), and a cylindrical L-shaped protective tube 6 is fixed to a lid 7 for fixing the entire spraying device to the insertion port 3 so that the water feed pipe 4 and nozzle 5 are enclosed. Consequently, the service life of the device is increased by >=25 times as compared with the conventional one, the material cost is reduced, and the labor cost for the exchange is remarkably saved.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the accuracy of the mineral concentrate charging amount by preventing the pulsation of the mineral concentrate charging amount, and stably removing adhesion of mineral concentrate generated at the tip part of a measurement screw conveyor.SOLUTION: A mineral concentrate charging apparatus (facility) includes: a cutting out screw conveyor 1 driven by an inverter 10 and a motor 12; and a measurement screw conveyor 2 having a weight measuring apparatus 3 and driven by an inverter 9 and a motor 11, and is configured so that mineral concentrate 13 is cut out by the cutting out screw conveyor 1, the cut-out mineral concentrate 13 is charged to a refining furnace by the measurement screw conveyor 2, and the weight of the mineral concentrate 13 to be charged is continuously measured by the weight measurement apparatus 3, wherein the number of revolutions in the cutting out screw conveyor 1 is controlled by a PID controller 7, the charging amount z of the mineral concentrate is controlled, the number of revolutions in the measurement screw conveyor 2 is made to reach a 100 percent full speed operation of a motor 11, thus both the screw conveyors 1, 2 are set to the one achieving dispersion type control.
