摘要： PURPOSE:To produce a cold rolled steel strip with clean surfaces by a simple method wherein a cold rolled steel strip is heated in an oxidizing atmosphere and then it is annealed in a reducing atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:The cold rolled steel strip is heated to a temperature of 400-500 deg.C in an oxidizing atmosphere, and an oxide film of about 300-10,000Angstrom in thickness is formed on the surface of the steel strip, as required. Then, the steel strip is annealed in a reducing atmosphere so as to prevent the formation of smudges or graphite stains. Accordingly, a cold rolled steel strip having clean surfaces can be produced.

摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a cold rolled steel plate with enhanced chemical treatability by thickening P contained in a cold rolled steel plate in the form of P oxide on the plate surface at a specified thickness. CONSTITUTION:Chemical treatment reaction is induced through active sites existing on the surface of a cold rolled steel plate, that is, local microcells. Formation of such microcells is remarkably facilitated by oxides of Mn, Si, etc. segregated on the plate surface, esp. a P-layer segregated on the plate surface, and the microcells enhance the reactivity of the plate to chemical treatment. P in the plate is thickened in the form of P-oxide on the plate surface at a thickness of 20-100Angstrom . In order to thicken P the plate contg. 0.005-0.30wt% P is pref. annealed by being held in an atomosphere consisting of 4-40% H2 and the balance N2 at 500-700 deg.C under a vapor press. of 4.5-30mmHg for 2hrs or more.

摘要： PURPOSE:To inhibit carbon deterioration and nitriding tendency, by automatically computing and controlling the atmosphere of a mixed gas of N2 and H2 in annealing so that an index showing carbon deposition and decarburization tendency represents invariable decarburization. CONSTITUTION:The mixture of H2 gas and N2 gas with N2 base is sent through a mixing machine 2 into a box type annealing furnace 1. Subsequently, CO formed in the furnace during the process of annealing and H2 in an atmosphere in the furnace are measured with an analyzer 4 and the moisture with a moisture analyzer 3. These measurements are input to a computer 6. An index showing the carbon deposition and decarbrization tendency of steel plate is computed in association with the temperature of the steel plate at a point of time of the measurement. At that time, if the index represents a carbon deposition tendency, moisture is fed from a pipe for sending an adjustment gas 9 into the furnace 1 and the atmospheric gas is automatically computed and controlled so that the index represents the decarburization tendency invariably.

CONSTITUTION:Both sides or one side of a full-hardened steel plate manufactured by cold rolling is heated to 500-700 deg.C by high frequency heating or heat treatment with infrared rays without carrying out annealing. Thus, on the heated side a 20- 50mu thick recrystallized layer is formed, whereby the chemical treatability of the plate is enhanced without losing the intrinsic hardness, and firm fine coating about equal to that of an annealed steel plate is enabled.
