摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the trouble of corrosion of a distillation system, by controlling the operation temp. of the distillation system of a coal liquefaction product. CONSTITUTION:A liquefaction product produced by hydrogenation of coal is fed into a gas-liq. separation column 3. Naphtha and a part of the middle distillate which distilled from the top of the gas-liq. separation column 3 is treated at 130-220 deg.C in an atmospheric distillation column 4. The remainder of the middle distillate, a heavy distillate and a residue which was obtained from the bottom of the gas-liq. separation column 3 is treated at 260-340 deg.C in a steam distillation column. Amine hydrochloride which is produced in the step of the coal liquefaction reaction is thermally decomposed in the distillation system. The corrosion due to HCl thus produced occurs exclusively at a temperature ranging from 220-260 deg.C. Therefore, the distillation system is operated so as to avoid such a temperature range.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enhance the yield of liquefied oil and to reduce cost, by forming a coal liquefying catalyst of a particulate material with a particle size of 350 mesh or less and moisture of 0.5% or less obtained by drying and grinding dust generated from an iron bath coal gasifying furnace. CONSTITUTION:Dust generated from an iron bath coal gasifying furnace is recovered along with water in a slurry state by a thickener and this recovered slurry is dehydrated, dried and ground to obtain a particulate material with a particle size of 350 mesh or less and moisture of 0.5% or less used as a coal liquefying catalyst. Drying after the aforementioned dehydration is performed using hot air of about 200 deg.C but, if necessary, N2-drying under atmospheric pressure is further employed. The fine grinding of dust is performed using a general ball mill and the adjustment of a particle size to a predetermined one is performed by a vibration screen. This catalyst can more enhance the yield of liquefied oil and reduces the cost of a liquefied oil product.
