摘要： PURPOSE:To stably and continuously cast a cast strip having excellent surface characteristic and the quality by pressing the cast strip remaining unsolidified part drawn out from a mold to width direction from both sides with plural liquid lubricating press plates and forming this to the prescribed thickness in order. CONSTITUTION:The size of both short side walls sandwiched with long side walls is substantially equalized to the aimed cast strip thickness and the cast strip is drawn out from both end opened mold 4 having cross sectional shape, where facing inner faces at center part of the long side walls are retreated and separated by distance to be possible to use a submerged nozzle 3. At the position remaining the unsolidified part in the cast strip, plural liquid lubricating press plates 6 constituting pressing curve face 5 are set so as to gradually squeeze the distance between both bulging faces of the cast strip formed at the center part of the long side walls in the mold from inlet side toward outlet side direction. Then, the cast strip drawn out from the mold is passed from both sides toward thickness direction with plural liquid lubricating press plates 6 to gradually form the prescribed thickness. By this method, the cast strip having good quality can be continuously cast at good workability.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve wear resistance of a composite material by forming the composite material with ferrous metal containing the specific wt.% of Ti and ceramic making main component of either alumina or zirconia. CONSTITUTION:The ceramic particle 12 making the main component of either the alumina or zirconia is packed at the prescribed quantity between a mold 11 of metallic mold, etc., formed into the prescribed shape and a core 14. Successively, the ceramic particle 12 is heated to the prescribed temp. and the ferrous metal 13 in molten-state containing 0.1-3.0% Ti is cast in the mold 11. By this method, the ferrous metal 13 is sufficiently impregnated into void of the ceramic particle 12. Then, Ti in the metal 13 generates chemical reaction with the alumina or zirconia of the ceramic 12, to firmly combine the ceramic particle 12 with the ferrous metal 13. Therefore, fall-down of the ceramic from the obtd. ceramic composite body is prevented and the wear resistance is improved.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of waving deformation of web by executing flange cooling and/or web heating so that temp. difference between the web and flanges is smaller than quantified critical amount. CONSTITUTION:The measured result of surface temp. with a temp. sensor 8 is sent to a comparison arithmetic unit 9, calculation of the average temp. difference of cross section between the web and flanges is executed and necessary correction of the temp. difference between the web and the flanges is determined from forcedly cooling conditions of the flange and dimensions of the H-shape steel after finish rolling that are preliminarily instructed and inputted. Those signals are expressed in the terms of the strength of heating and/or strength of cooling for a heating/cooling device. Those signals are sent to a controller 10, fed back to the heating/cooling device 6 with the controller 10 and the strength of heating/cooling is controlled. Forcedly cooling conditions of flange in a cooling device 7 is sent to the comparison arithmetic unit 9 and the correction of data is executed.
