    • PURPOSE:To make start and end of furnace operation easy, and to improve gas recovery efficiency, by setting a by-path flue changeable to a suction exhauster side, and using changeably a normal-pressure operation method to introduce an evolved gas to an atmosphere release side and a pressure operation method to sent the gas to a gas recovery side. CONSTITUTION:The suction exhauster 6 is operated to sena an evolved gas to the flues 7, 8, 10 and 17, the gas is cooled by the gas cooler 3, exhausted through the dust collectors 4 and 5 to atmosphere (furnace opening is opened and normal-pressure operation is carried out). The furnace opening part of molten iron bath furnace is closed and sealed, and the exhauster 6 is stopped. Then, the pressure at the furnace opening part is raised, the evolved gas is sent through the flue 7 by the pressure to the flue 10. When this gas output pressure reaches a gas recovery pressure, it is recognized by the detector 24 to operate the actuator 18, the divergence of the dust collector 5 is regulated corresponding to the furnace opening pressure of the bath furnace, the evolved gas is transported to a gas holder and stored (space between furnace opening part and flue is closed, and pressure operation is carried out).

    • PURPOSE:To improve the response characteristics of respective dampers and to obtain always the max. dust removal efficiency by constituting the dampers of primary and secondary Venturi scrubbers in such a manner that the openings thereof can be varied and adjusting the respective opening degree according to the rate of the raw materials to be charged into a furnace and the internal pressure of the furnace. CONSTITUTION:The amt. of the gasifying raw material such as coal to be charged from a gasifying raw material blowing device 1 into a gasifying furnace 14 is measured by a flow meter 2 and the supply rate of pressurized oxygen is adjusted according to the measured amt. of the raw materials to be charged; at the same time, the damper opening degree of the primary Venturi scrubber 20 is so set by a calculator 5 and a damper driver 19 that the differential pressure thereof is maintained in a specified range. On the other hand, the internal pressure in the throat part of the furnace 14 is detected and the damper opening degree of the secondary Venturi scrubber 23 is adjusted by a throat pressure controller 13 and a damper driver 21 to maintain the specified internal pressure of the furnace 14. The always max. dust removal efficiency is thus obtd. without generating a time lag with the fluctuation in the flow rate of the produced gas contg. fine dust at a high concn.
