    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a function by forming constricted sections to an airtight flexible jacket, in which one end is installed to a corrugated weir and the other end onto a river-bed and which is extended in the downstream direction, at regular intervals. SOLUTION: A Jacket 11 consisting of a flexible membrane is disposed on the downstream side of a corrugated weir 1 crossed over a river, and one end 11a is joined with the rear surface of the weir 1 and the other end 11b with a ribbed-bed A. The jacket 11 is pulled to the river-bed A by wires 12-15, and stepped irregularities composed of constricted sections 12a-15a are formed while the other end 11b side is lowered gradually. When a fluid is poured into the weir 1 and the jacket 11 and the weir 1 and the jacket 11 are expanded, a stepped water flow close to natural environment is formed towards an upstream, and the overall width of the river is used as a fish ladder 10 suiltable for the ascent of fishes. When the fluid is discharged from a port 3 at the time of the nonuse of the fish ladder 10, the fish ladder 10 is brought down and a water flow capable of reaching the weir 1 disappears. The fluid is discharged from a port 2 at the time of a swelling and the weir 1 is brought down, and a sufficient river cross section is ensured. Accordingly, the gradient and shape of the fish ladder can be formed freely.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the function of a fish ladder by expanding a flexible jacket disposed along a corrugated weir for a cutoff by a fluid and lowering the height of the flexible jacket from one end to the other end. SOLUTION: A corrugated weir 1 for a cutoff consisting of a flexible membrane is crossed over a river and installed onto a river-bad A, and a fish ladder 10 composed of a flexible jacket 11 is extended on the downstream side of the weir 1 along the corrugated weir 1. Height is lowered gradually towards the other end section 1 from one end section of the jacket 11 under the state, in which the jacket 11 is supplied with a fluid and expanded, and the height of the end section 14 is set in height, in which fishes are transferred to the corrugated weir 1, while the height of the other end section 15 is set in height, in which fishes are transferred from the river to the fish ladder 10. When a water flow ride acrosses the corrugated weir 1, fishes ascend from the end section 15 of the fish ladder 10 to the end section 14, and ride across the corrugated weir 1. When the fish ladder 10 is not used, the fluid is discharged and the jacket 11 is shrunk, and the fluid in the corrogated weir 1 and the jacket 11 is discharged and both the weir 1 and the jacket 11 are brought don at the time of a swelling. Accordingly, fishes can be made to ascend smoothly.
