摘要： PURPOSE:To improve the positioning accuracy of optical connectors and to stabilize coupling by providing the 1st optical connector which has a fiber connecting member provided with 1st guide holes, a 1st member which has 2nd guide holes and connects optical fibers and the 2nd optical connector which has springs mounted between the 1st member and the 2nd member. CONSTITUTION:This device is constituted by including the 1st optical connector 9 which has the fiber connecting member 1 having a pair of the 1st guide holes to be inserted with coupling pins and the 2nd optical connector 10 which is held by a holding member 11. The 2nd optical connector 10 is constituted by having the 1st member 1 which has a pair of the 2nd guide holes formed at nearly the same intervals as the intervals of the 1st guide holes and is connected with optical fibers, the 2nd member 5 which is held by the holding member and further, springs 3, 4 mounted between the 1st member 1 and the 2nd member 5. The improvement in the positioning accuracy and the stabilization of the coupling are compatibly attained in this way.

摘要： PURPOSE:To eliminate tangling of an optical fiber when it is coupled with a cable and to improve the operability by forming an upper/lower two-stage structure inside, providing an optical component storage space and an excessive- length optical fiber storage part at the lower stage and with an optical connector storage part at the upper stage, and partitioning the upper and lower stages with an intermediate lid and an optical fiber lead-in part. CONSTITUTION:A case main body 1 is partitioned into the upper and lower stages with the optical fiber lead-in part 4 and intermediate lid 9 and the optical component storage space 2 and the excessive-length optical fiber storage part 3 which is formed between the inside of the case main body 1 and a guide formed of a pin 8 for optical fiber movement prevention are provided in the lower partitioned stage of the main body 1. The upper stage of the storage case main body 1 is provided with the optical connector storage part 5. Therefore, optical components and an excessive-length optical fiber, and an optical connector 13 can be sectioned and stored in the upper and lower stages. Consequently, many optical fibers can be stored without tangling and the operability can be improved.

The initial address setting work can be thus performed simply in a short time while keeping high accuracy.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a photosensor device having an excellent resolution in three-dimensional directions by a method wherein a light to be applied to an object is made to be a condensed beam and a reflected light from the object is led to an optical fiber again by a condenser lens. CONSTITUTION:A light emitted from a light source 1 is led to a photocoupler 4 and made to branch into an optical fiber 5 and an optical fiber 6. The light led to the fiber 5 is made to be a condensed beam by a condenser lens 8 in a sensor head 7 and projected to an object 9, and the light reflected therefrom is led to the fiber 5 again by the lens 8 and made to branch into two fibers, an optical fiber 3 and an optical fiber 10. An emission light of the fiber 10 is detected as the quantity of the light reflected by the object 9 and an emission light of the fiber 6 as the quantity of the light projected to the object 9 by detectors 11a and 11b respectively, and they are amplified by lock-in amplifiers 12a and 12b respectively. From the ratio between these signals, the reflectivity of the object 9 at a spot whereon the condensed beam falls is determined by a computer 13.

The failure and trouble by the collision of the optical connector switching and connecting device are prevented in this way and the higher performance and flexibility of the device are obtd.

This means the initial address setting of the core side connector 4 is performed after fitting the connector unit 7 to a selector body 2. Accuracy at the time of fitting the core side connector 4 to the connector unit 7 or the connector unit 7 to the selector body 2 is not therefore required. As a result, the increase in the number of additional lines can be appropriately corresponded to by the extension of the connector units 7 and the initial address setting work at this time can be performed simply in a short time.

CONSTITUTION:The respective optical fibers 1a to 1d of the multifiber optical fiber are crimped respectively by the supporting members 2a, 2b and the front ends 3a to 3d thereof are machined approximately isotropically with the optical axes and thereafter, the front ends are chemically isotropically etched to the spherical shape. The spherical surface parts are pressed to the other optical fiber connector constituted in the same manner as for the optical fibers to attain a physical contact, by which the gaps between the optical fibers to be optically coupled are eliminated. The highly accurate and good physical contact is formed in this way and the high-performance physical contact is attained by the simple method even with the multifiber connector in particular.

Further, the 2nd pressing member 3 presses the optical fibers 5a positioned by the 1st positioning grooves 1a. The holding member 4 has internally a tapered surface and holds the positioning member 1, the 1st pressing member 2 and the 2nd pressing member 3. The operability, initial characteristics and durability of the optical connector are improved in this way.

On the other hand, the rubber valve 47 which is a packing is installed to the side of the piston 45 opposite to the spring 46. Then, the value is not shaved and smoothly moves even if the value swelled by the matching agent. The valve part may be formed of the step part of the piston and an O-ring.

When the guide pin 20 comes into contact with a fixing member 1 at a wrong address position, the guide pin 20 is retracted, and a guide pin sensor 21 is turned on, which interrupts the advancing of the optical connector 5 i.e., the operation of the insertion mechanism 11.
