    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant polycarbonate resin composition free of generation of a halogen-containing gas. SOLUTION: The flame-retardant polycarbonate resin composition is obtained by blending 100 pts.wt. of a polycarbonate resin (A) with 0.01-8 pts.wt. of a silicone compound (B) having a main chain of a branched structure and containing organic substituents including an aromatic group and 0.01-0.4 pt.wt. of an alkali metal salt (C) of an aromatic sulfonic acid. The silicone compound (B) contains a unit of the formula: R'SiO 1.5 (wherein R' represents an organic substituent) (unit T) and/or a unit of the formula: SiO 2.0 (unit Q) in an amount of ≥20 mol% based on all the siloxane units (R' 3-0 SiO 2-0.5 ) (wherein R' is the same as above R'). The aromatic sulfonic acid is one or more selected from dimethyl 2,4,6-trichloro-5-sulfoisophthalate, 2,5-dichlorobenzenesulfonic acid and 2,4,5-trichlorobenzenesulfonic acid.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant polycarbonate resin composition which has high flame retardancy without impairing impact resistance and molding property and also excellent property in respect to environmental protection since a flame retardant comprising a chlorine or bromine compound or the like is not included and a risk of generating a gas containing halogen caused by the flame retardant is eliminated. SOLUTION: The flame-retardant polycarbonate resin composition comprises 100 parts by weight of a polycarbonate resin (A), 0.01-8 parts by weight of a silicone compound (B) whose main chain has a branched structure and whose organic functional group bears an aromatic group, and 0.03-5 parts by weight of a metal salt (C) of an aromatic sulfur compound or 0.01-5 parts by weight of a metal salt (E) of a perfluoroalkanesulfonic acid or 0.05-5 parts by weight of a fiber-forming fluoropolymer (D).
