摘要： PURPOSE: To provide a vibration-isolator which can be easily and safely removed from the space between a structure and the foundation without cracks on the floor, the walls, etc., of the structure or which can be installed therebetween. CONSTITUTION: When vibration-isolators 4 in which elastic materials and metallic plates are alternately superposed to support a structure on the foundation, are removed from the space between the structure and the foundation, jacks are arranged between the foundation 2 and the structure 3 to preliminarily support the structure against the foundation. Then, the vibration-isolators are cooled down until a specified load from the-structure 3 acts on the jacks and thereafter, the vibrationisolators are taken out of the space between the foundation and the structure.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable communicating passage that is arranged to the part where corridors/passages or the like of two independent buildings are communicated at the upper stories with a simple structure, so that it can follow up even a large relative displacement between the two buildings. SOLUTION: A frame part (structural member) is bridged between the intermediate part of a passage 1 that has been provided along the side surface of a building A and an overhang passage 2 projected from a building B. The part being supported by the frame part on the building B side has a continuos sectional shape so as to cover both spandrel walls 3 that have been erected on both sides of the overhang passage and the floor part 4, and the overhang passage 2 is supported by the top parts of the spandrel walls so as to be movable in the axial direction. On the other side, the part being supported by the side of the building A is formed so as to cover the spandrel wall 5 erected on one side of the passage, and the passage 1 is supported by the top part of the spandrel wall so as to be movable in the axial direction. By constituting the passage like this, even when a relative displacement is caused between two buildings, the parts being supported by the frame parts are moved in different directions, so that the relative displacement in all the horizontal direction can be followed up.

摘要： PURPOSE:To lengthen the time cycle of vibration of an upper structure thereby reducing construction costs of a building frame. CONSTITUTION:In a base-isolated structure 1 wherein rolling bearings 2 and laminated rubber supports 3 are provided between an upper structure 11 and a lower structure 12 which are isolated from each other so as to be relatively displaced, vertical loads of the structure 11 are mostly born by the bearings 2, while the supports 3 are mainly used as horizontal springs to resore the structure 11. By this method, the time cycle of vibration of the upper structure 11 can be made longer and the construction cost of building frame of the whole base-isolated building 1 can be reduced.
