The colorant contains a dye. The resin is a resin containing a copolymer containing: a structural unit derived from at least one selected from the group consisting of an unsaturated carboxylic acid and an unsaturated carboxylic acid anhydride; a structural unit derived from a monomer having a 2-4C cyclic ether structure and an ethylenically unsaturated bond; and a structural unit derived from a monomer expressed by formula (x). The content of the structural unit derived from the monomer expressed by formula (x) is 1 mol% or more and 80 mol% or less with respect to the whole structural units constituting the copolymer.

The polymerization unit having the acid labile group may be represented by formula V (where Q is the acid labile group, e.g. 1-alkoxyalkoxy).
