    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a color filter, in which the flatness of a colored pixel layer can be made superior, a color blend can be prevented from occurring due to intermixture of coloring inks of different colors between the adjacent colored pixel layers, and the generation of a pixel defect such as a local white void can be prevented.
      SOLUTION: At a black matrix substrate production step, a photosensitive black resin composition layer is patterned on a substrate. A non-cross-linkable coloring ink is packed in an opening of a black matrix, which is formed on the substrate at the black matrix substrate production step, and the packed ink is dried/solidified to form a colored layer. A transparent and cross-linkable ink, which has ≤0.01 mPa yield value and ≤25°contact angle with the black matrix, is supplied to cover all of the black matrix and the colored layer-formed opening and the supplied transparent and cross-linkable ink is cured to form a transparent protective layer.
