摘要： PURPOSE:To facilitate the handling of unfired formed products by using a specific binder. CONSTITUTION:A material for porcelain is obtained by mixing a binder one or more selected from a high-temperature fired product of alpha-type tricalcium phosphate, tetracalcium phosphate, CaO-P2O5-SiO2 system and elevated- temperature fused product of CaO-P2O5-SiO2 system, with one or more selected from feldspar, clay, kaolin and mica. Then, 10 pts.wt. of the material are mixed with 2 to 5 pts.wt. of water, when needed, additionally an acid, such as phosphoric acid, a salt such as a phosphate salt, pigments or the like to form a slurry, then the base material is coated or impregnated with the slurry, cured and fired.

CONSTITUTION:The starting powder for porcelain is obtained by mixing a crushed product of elevated temperature fired composition containing at least one selected from alpha-type tricalcium phosphate, tetracalcium phosphate and CaO-P2O5-SiO2 substance with another crushed product of high-temperature fused product of CaO-P2O5-SiO2 substance and, when needed, at least one selected from feldspar, clay, kaolin and mica. The powder is admixed to water or an aqueous solution containing an acid such as phosphoric acid and/or a salt such as phosphate salt. Lace is impregnated with the admixture, cured into a desired form and fired.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve strength by mixing a powdery alpha-Ca3(PO4)2-Ca4O(PO4)2 mixture produced from specified hydroxyapatite with powder of a resin curing in an acidic aq. soln. CONSTITUTION:Hydroxyapatite having 1.50-1.68 molar ratio of Ca to P is dehydrated, thermally decomposed at >=1,200 deg.C and pulverized to produce a powdery alpha-Ca3(PO4)2-Ca4O(PO4)2 mixture having 5-10mum average particle size. Powder of a resin curing in an acidic aq. soln., e.g. methylolmelamine resin is added to the powdery mixture by 5-40wt.% and they are mixed to obtain a self-curing high strength combined material. This material is kneaded with water and an org. acid such as citric acid and the kneaded material is molded into a prescribed shape and cured to obtain a seal material similar to natural ivory in characteristics.
