    • PURPOSE:To make contamination of a filtrate side extremely little and to enable exchanging of a membrane element by integrally bonding and fixing both a hollow yarn membrane part and a cap body forming a flow path of filtrate into one body. CONSTITUTION:Hollow yarn membranes 7 are bundled nearly straightly and both ends are fixed, and the end faces of the membranes 7 in a fixing part 4 side are opened and the end faces of the membranes 7 in a fixing part 5 side sealed. A cap body 3 having a filtrate outlet 9 and a flange 10 is liquid- tightly bonded to the fixing part 4 and both fixing parts 4, 5 are fixed to both end parts of a perforated rigid cylindrical body 6 and thereby a membrane element 1 is formed. A hollow yarn membrane module is manufactured by fitting the membrane element to a housing 2 having a flange 11 supporting the cap body 3, a water supply inlet 8 and a water supply outlet 13 and fixing the flanges 10, 11 via a sealing member 12 and integrating them into one body. By such a way, contamination of the contact face of filtrate at a time for manufacturing the module can be prevented and the membrane module can be easily exchanged.

    • PURPOSE:To enhance filtering efficiency by uniformizing the flow of a raw solution to be filtered inside and outside hollow yarn bundles, by adhering and fixing a tubular body having a large number of fine pores provided to the side surface thereof in the central side of hollow yarn bundles along with said hollow yarn bundles. CONSTITUTION:A large number of hollow yarns 1 each sealed at one end thereof and opened at the other end thereof and a tubular body 2 sealed at one end thereof and opened at the other end thereof and having a large number of fine pores 4 provided to the side surface thereof are converged at the end parts thereof to adhere and fix said end parts by a resin 3. In this external pressure filtering type filter apparatus using a hollow yarn filter membrane module, a raw solution to be filtered is injected to the surfaces of the hollow yarn membranes through the fine pores 4 of the tubular body 2 to generate the fluctuation of the hollow yarn membranes and penetrated into the parts where the membranes are mutually contacted and, because the membranes function effectively and fine particles adhered to the surfaces of the membranes are washed off, filtering efficiency is enhanced.

    • PURPOSE: To prepare a hollow yarn like semipermeable membrane having a sharp fractionating property and high in filtering efficiency and fractionation efficiency, by stretching a hollow yarn so as to adjust the inner diameter thereof to 85% or less of that at the time of the emission of the hollow yarn.
      CONSTITUTION: A 10W40% solution of a polysulfone resin in an org. solvent having compatibility with water is extruded into a coagulation bath from a ring shaped nozzle. The size of the inner die of the ring shaped nozzle is set to 1.18 times or more of the inner diameter size of a hollow yarn membrane to be obtained. By accelerating the wind-up speed in a coagulation bath, the hollow yarn membrane is stretched so as to adjust the inner diameter to 85% or less of that at the emission time of the hollow yarn membrane. By performing the stretching prior to perfectly gelling the resin, fine pores having an extremely uniform size are formed to the inner surface of the hollow yarn and further fixed in a more finely pulverized state by gelling.

    • PURPOSE: To obtain the titled enzyme having strength usable for column packing, having improved substrate dispersibility, by dispersing an enzyme or a mold into a resin solution of polysulfone resin in a desired solvent and an alcohol, coagulating bath.
      CONSTITUTION: An enzyme or a mold is dispersed into a resin solution of polysulfone resin in at least one solvent of N-methyl-2 pyrrolidone, dimethylformamid and dimethylacetamide and an alcohol (an alcohol having compatibility with water and the solvent). The solution is dropped or extruded into water (and a coagulating solution optionally containing an alcohol or acetone). The resin concentration is adjusted to a concentration to exceed 5wt% and not to exceed 30wt%.
