摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an indoaniline-based dye from deteriorating even under the condition that the indoaniline-based dye represented by a formula is included in a thermal transfer dye layer and a specified weight ratio between a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether and a phosphate is included in a heat resistant lubricity layer. SOLUTION: A thermal transfer sheet is so constituted as to have a base material sheet 1, on the front surface of which a thermal transfer dye layer 2 is provided, while on the rear surface of which a heat resistant lubricity layer 3 is provided. The thermal transfer dye layer 2 has a structure formed by dispersing a compound represented as an indoaniline-based dye by a formula, in which R represents an alkyl group or an alkoxy group, R , R R , R , R and R represent independently a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkoxyl group, a formamino group, an alkyl caboxyl amino group or a halogen atom, in a binder. The heat resistant lubricity layer 3 has a structure formed by dispersing a polyoxy ethylene alkyl ether and a phosphoric aic, the ratio of the former to the latter between which is 10:1-1:2, in a binder resin.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermal transfer image receiver having light resistance, dark discoloring resistance, resistance to sebum of the same degree as those of the receiver having a conventional dye receiving layer and more than thermal transfer degree of them by molding the receiver by laminating a dye receiving layer containing naphthalene compound on a base material. SOLUTION: The thermal transfer image receiver 1 used for sublimable thermal transfer recording is formed by laminating a dye receiving layer 3 on a sheet-like or film-like base material 2. The layer 3 is formed by dispersing naphthalene compound in a dye dyeable resin to improve the transfer sensitivity, light resistance, sebaceous resistance and dark discoloring resistance of the receiver 1. Such naphthalene compound includes, for example, 1-n- dodecylnaphthalne, 1,4-dibutylnaphthalene, and 2-6-dibutylnaphthalene. The content of the naphthalene compound in the layer 3 is suitably 0.2 to 40wt.%, and more preferably 1 to 25wt.%.

摘要： PURPOSE: To prevent lap-feeding or trouble and strike-through generated when printing paper is erroneously fed inside out by forming the backcoat layer of printing paper using a specific resin containing a phenoxy resin and a polyester polyurethane resin. CONSTITUTION: Thermal transfer printing paper is obtained by providing a dye receiving layer 3 on one surface of a sheet like base material 2 and providing a backcoat layer 4 on the other surface thereof. In this case, the backcoat layer 4 contains 10wt.% or more of a phenoxy resin and 10wt.% or more of a polyester polyurethane resin. The phenoxy resin has a structure represented by formula. The polyester polyurethane resin has a mol.wt. (Mn) of 10000-50000. The backcoat layer contains 10wt.% or more of a urethane resin having a hydrophilic group. The urethane resin has a hydroxyl group, a sulfonic acid group and a carboxylic acid group or salts of them as polar groups.

By this constitution, an image receiving sheet reduced in the magnitude of white paper curling and surface undulation, excellent in feed properties and generating no trouble in supply and discharge is obtained.
