    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a conventional projector apparatus has such constitution that a communication hole on an air intake side of a reflector is identical in size to a communication hole on an air discharge side provided opposite thereto, and cooling air is made to linearly circulate from one communication hole toward the other communication hole, as a result, there is a high air resistance at the communication hole on the air discharge side, and the resistance reduces the speed of the air flow, which results in the problem of low cooling efficiency and difficulty in keeping the life of a light-emitting tube sufficiently long. SOLUTION: A projector apparatus includes: a light-emitting tube 24 emitting illumination light; a reflector 25 covering the periphery of the light-emitting tube and reflecting the illumination light in a forward direction; a cooling fan 6; and an apparatus housing 2. The reflector 25 and the cooling fan 6 are accommodated in the apparatus housing 2. The cooling fan 6 is disposed beside the reflector 25 and sends cooling air to the light-emitting tube 24. The reflector 25 is provided with: an intake port 27 facing an exhaust port 38 of the cooling fan 6; and two discharge ports 28 and 29 made to be opened in a direction perpendicular to the intake port.
