摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent internal shortcircuiting of a Li secondary battery effectively by forming a separator from a lamination of porous high-density film with resistance against electrolyte and unwoven cloth, and by arranging unwoven cloths on both sides of the film. CONSTITUTION:Unwoven cloths 5 are arranged on both sides of a film 4, wherein the unwoven cloth 5 is of glass fiber etc., having a thickness of 60-200mum, a density of 0.3-0.45g/cm , while the film is of polyethylene etc., having a thickness of 25-100mum and a density of 0.5-0.6g/cm . The negative pole is made of metal Li etc., while the positive pole is of an electroconductive polymer such as polyacetylene, and the solution used shall for ex. be LiClO4, and the solvent 1,2-dimethoxyethane, whereto triethyl amin etc., is added as a stabilizer. According to this arrangement, eventual production of Li dendrite on the negative pole 1 will not necessarily lead directly to internal shortcircuiting, that should prolong the cycle life of a Li secondary battery.

摘要： PURPOSE:To give a nonaqueous secondary cell consisting mainly of a positive electrode, a negative electrode and an electrolytic solution, high energy density, good charge-discharge reversibility and long life by using, in particular, a compound represented by M.PF6 as the electrolyte. CONSTITUTION:Polymerized aniline is used as positive electrode active material and alkaline metal, alloy which includes alkaline metal or conductive high polymer, or a compound of these materials in optional combination in used as negative electrode active material. Salt of alkaline metal and PF6 such as LiPF6, NaPF6 and KPF6 or salt of alkylammonium and PF6 such as (C4H9)4 N.PF6, (C2H5)4N.PF6 is used as an electrolyte. These salts are used in an approximate range from 0.1M-5M. Consequently, it is possible to make a nonaqueous secondary cell of high energy density, good charge-discharge reversibility, longer cycle life and reduced spontaneous discharge.

A stack of the positive electrode, the negative electrode, and the separator is spirally wound. The aniline polymer and a flexible conductive material are united and formed in a sheet, and the polymer contains carbon material. The aniline polymer consists of a polymer of aniline or its derivative. Voltage per cell is increased to make the battery compact and the cycle life of the battery is increased.

An electrolyte comprises a solution of Li salt dissolved into an aprotic organic solvent (for example, a mixture of sodium propylene and sodium ethylene and 1, 2- ditoxyethane, dimethyl sulfoxydo and the like) impregnated into separators 4 and 5. These separators 4 and 5 are sealed into a stainless steel battery case 6 via a gasket 7.

CONSTITUTION:Polyaniline powder 4 synthesized in a 0.8V constant potential polymerization process is press-molded on a platinum net at a pressure of 770kg/cm and used as a positive electrode. Lithium 6 is used as a negative electrode. A solution prepared by dissolving 1M LiBF4 in a mixed solvent of propylene carbonate and 1,2-dimethoxyethane is used as an electrolyte. The bulk density of the polymer electrode is specified to 1.0g/cm or more, and its thickness to 0.3mm or less. Doping rate as initial performance is increased to 60 molar percent or more which permits practical use.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a polymer battery having long cycle performance and high capacity, and capable of charge-discharge at high current density by using polyaniline or a composite of polyaniline and a carbonaceous material as a negative active material, lead dioxide as a positive active material, and a mixed aqueous solution of a sulfate and an acid capable of complete dissociation as an electrolyte. CONSTITUTION:A polymer battery consists mainly of a negative active material of polyaniline or a composite of polyaniline and a carbonaceous material, a positive active material of lead dioxide, and an electrolyte comprising a mixed aqueous solution of a sulfate and an acid capable of complete dissocaition. By using a composite of polyaniline and a carbonaceous material as the negative active material, the electric capacity in charge-discharge obtained when a battery is charged and discharged to a specified voltage at a specified current is remarkably increased compared with that obtained by using polyaniline alone. By using this mixed aqueous solution as the electrolyte, pH of the electrolyte can be controlled to the range of 1-4 within which deterioration of polyaniline is avoided without decrease in the ionic conductivity of the solution. H2SO4, HCl, HClO4, and HBF4 are preferable as the acid used in the electrolyte.
