    • PURPOSE:To provide a laser beam scanning device which permits effective use of all the beams generated by reflecting the beam of the ineffective scanning angle of a divider with rotary splitting plane mirrors by means of two dividers. CONSTITUTION:A laser beam 1 is reflected by a polygon 17 with many reflection mirrors and rotating splitting plane mirror to scan an electrical steel sheet 21. The reflected light which goes to the outside of a parabolic mirror 19 or irradiates others except the sheet 21 is ineffective. Such ineffective light is reflected by a beam splitting and deviding device 16 having alternately synchronously rotating transparent and reflecting mirrors and is scanned by the similar device on the right side to irradiate the sheet 21. All the beams 1 are made to scan the sheet 21 by such mechanism.

    • PURPOSE:To remove a background noise and to take measurement by providing rotary sectors which rotate synchronously with each other and a reflecting mirror on the optical axis of laser light emitted toward gas to be measured, a reflecting surface behind the gas to be measured, and two kinds of interference filters to one rotary sector. CONSTITUTION:The rotary sectors 4A and 4B which rotate synchronously with each other are provided on the optical axis of light emitted by a light source through an elliptic mirror 2 and a parabolic mirror 3; the sector 4A is provided with an interference filter F1 which transmits only light of wavelength lambda1, an interference filter F2 which transmits only light by wavelength lambda2, and a total absorbing surface A, and the sector 4B is provided with a total absorbing surface A, a total reflecting surface L, and a transmission hole H. A half-mirror 6, on the other hand, guides reflected light from the reflecting surface L of the sector 4B and a reflecting surface 7 provided behind the gas 7 to be measured to an off-axis parabolic mirror 8, so that a photodetector 9 detects light reflected by the parabolic mirror 8. Thus, the concn. and partial pressure of many kinds of gas are measured simultaneously and accurately while the influence of a background noise is removed.
