摘要： PURPOSE:To correctly detect foul breath substance by providing a mouth air chamber having an opening member for forming a space portion in the front yard of a mouth and a covering member for closely covering a mouth portion and disposing a gas sensor for detected stored foul breath gas. CONSTITUTION:A gas concentration detector 10 includes a gas sensor 11, a pump 12 for sucking foul breath gas and a display portion 13. A mouth chamber 40 is preferably formed by elastic transparent or translucent material. An opening member 42 is disposed in the peripheral edge portion of a covering member 41 and formed in such a manner that even if it contacts the mucosa in the mouth, it is not painful. The mouth air chamber 40 is installed between upper and lower lips 101, 102 and between the upper and lower jaw tooth trains 103, 104. The mouth is partly forcedly opened, and a space portion with a designated volume can be produced in the front yard 105 of the mouth so that the foul breath gas stays there. After installation, after the lapse of a designated time, the pump 12 of the gas concentration detecting portion 10 is operated to start suction, and the foul breath gas is reliably sent to the gas sensor 11 to measure the concentration of foul breath and display same in digital or analog on the display portion 13.
