摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a liquid silicone rubber base having excellent fluidity, satisfying the physical properties of a final product and capable of sufficiently coping with the tendency variety of kinds of the final products by a batch process. SOLUTION: In producing a liquid silicone rubber base mainly composed of an organopolysiloxane having >=2 alkenyl groups bonding to are silicon atom in the molecule and a reinforcing silica filler having >=50 m /g specific surface area (by BET method), a batch-type pressurizing high shear blender in which opened port parts at both ends of a cylindrical mixing container 1 are closed and at least one of the opened port parts is transferably provided and two side boards 2 and 3 capable of increasing or decreasing the volume of a mixing chamber in the mixing container by their transferring and one shafted stirring wing transferably provided so as a position in the mixing chamber to be changeable together with the transferring of the side boards 2 and 3 and/or to be independent to the transferring is used, and the inner pressure of the mixing chamber and the position of the stirring wing are varied by the side boards to perform kneading.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a hydrophobic silicon dioxide micro power which is characterized by collecting a hydrophobicity-treated silicon dioxide micro power scattering from a fluidized bath by a bag filter and cyclone kept at 100-500 degree C in the manufacturing method for the same in which a silicon dioxide micro powder produced by a pyrolysis of a silane compound is treated to be hydrophobic with organohalosilane in a fluidized bath. SOLUTION: According to this invention, the scattering silica from a fluidized bath is collected by a cyclone and bag filter. Under such a simply controlled condition that these implements are kept above 100 deg.C, about 100% of a scattering silica can be collected. Thereby, product yield is increased and the load required for flue-gas treatment is reduced.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing hydrophobic silica fine powder by treating a silica fine powder produced by thermal decomposition method having silanol groups on the surfaces, with an organohalosilane. SOLUTION: This method of producing the hydrophobic silica fine powder by treating a thermal decomposition method silica fine powder obtained by the thermal decomposition of a silane compound with an organohalosilane in a fluidized bed, is characterized in that the gas flow rate in a fluidized tank is made to be 1.4 to 3 cm/sec. Thereby, the objective treatment degree can be achieved with the silane in a reduced amount based on silica by the method which facilitates the control of production conditions. Since the non-reacted silane in the waste gas is little, the clogging of piping due to the polymerization of the silane is largely reduced. The small gas flow rate means that the gas for the flow is a little, and the method thereby has merits comprising the reduction in the amount of nitrogen used therein and the lowering in the cost of the treated silica.
