摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antifoaming agent composition having an improved affinity with silica and silicone oil and excellent in antifoaming property- retaining capacity and mechanical stability by using both a diol organopolysilozane having hydroxy groups at both ends and a particular organopolysiloxane oligomer. SOLUTION: An oil compound constituted of 30-98.9 wt.% of α,ω- diorganopolysiloxane represented by formula I (wherein R represents same or different 1C-20C unsubstituted or substituted monovalent hydrocarbon groups, 10 /g or higher by the BET method is used as a primary constituent so as to prepare an antifoaming agent composition. This composition can retain antifoaming capacity under a violent agitation condition.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a flame retardant resin composition not generating a harmful gas in the event of a fire or at the time of incineration, being safe and having a reduced environmental loading by including an organopolysiloxane not having a specific crosslinkable organic functional group. SOLUTION: This flame retardant resin composition comprises (A) 100 pts.wt. synthetic resin containing an aromatic ring in the molecule, (B) 0.1-10 pts.wt. liquid organopolysiloxane containing a phenyl group and a 3-6C organooxy group in the molecule as an essential substitutional group binding to a silicon atom. In the organopolysiloxane of the component (B), the ratio of the phenyl group to the total weight of organic group consisting of all organic groups binding to the silicon atom and an organic group binding to the silicon atom through an oxygen atom of the organooxy group is 30-80 wt.% and the contact of organooxy group in the whole molecule is 5-40 wt.%. The invention allows to achieve a flame retardancy of the resin without generating a harmful gas in burning and to maintain the optical transparency of the molded product by adding the organopolysiloxane having a specific structure to the synthetic resin containing the aromatic ring in the molecule.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a branched silicone oil having stabilized physical properties in a simple process by equilibrating specific components in the presence of an acidic catalyst, adding water thereto and then neutralizing the resultant mixture. SOLUTION: (A) A compound of the formula R Si(OR )3 (R is a 1-20C alkyl; R is a 1-6C alkyl) or its partial hydrolyzate is blended with (B) a dialkylcyclopolysiloxane of formula I [R is a 1-20C alkyl; (n) is 3-7] and/or a dialkylpolysiloxane of formula II [R is OH or a 1-6C alkoxy; (m) is 10-1000] and (C) an organopolysiloxane of formula III (R is a 1-20C alkyl; L is 0-100]) so as to provide (0.1-10)/(80-99.8)/(0.1-10)mol% of R 3 SiO1/2 unit /R 2 SiO2/2 unit/R SiO3/2 unit and the resultant blend is then equilibrated in the presence of an acidic catalyst selected from sulfuric acid and/or an organic sulfonic acid at 50-200 deg.C. Water is subsequently added thereto and the obtained mixture is stirred and further neutralized to provide the objective oil having 100-100000cSt viscosity at 25 deg.C.
