摘要： PURPOSE:To extend the life of a fan-shaped plural-hole slide plate brick having a common swiveling center and plural discharge holes and to simplify the exchange of said brick by providing said brick slidably in its longitudinal direction and swivelably around its swiveling center. CONSTITUTION:Plural discharge holes having hole diameter of Dmm. are arranged on an arc of about 5-70mm. radius from a common center O on a fan-shaped plural-hole slide plate brick 14. Such brick 14 is attached freely swivelably, via a pin 5 for swiveling the slide plate on a holding flask 3 supported upward by means of a clamp 4 and is swiveled around the common center O, i.e., the pin 5, by a hydraulic cylinder 8 for swiveling provided in the flask 3, by which the adequate exchange of the discharge holes is made possible. A hydraulic cylinder 7 for rectilinear motion provided freely attachably and detachably in a housing 1 is connected to the flask 3, and is made slidable in its longitudinal direction (a-a) so that the position of the brick 14 is made adjustable. The operation for casting a molten metal is thus rationalized.
