摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition capable of forming a water-stopping structure having high strength and useful for the sealing of cracks, etc., of a concrete structure by mixing a highly water-absorbing polymer swollen with water and a water-crosslinking polyurethane. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is produced by mixing and dispersing (A) a highly water-absorbing swollen polymer (preferably granules, etc.) composed of sodium polyacrylate polymer swelling 50-100 times volume by the absorption of water into (B) a water-crosslinking polyurethane such as adipic acid-glycol polyurethane. The composition is expanded and cured e.g. by passing electric current through the composition.

An incombustible gasket 2 is arranged at the faces 11,11 of the shiplap and the mutual gaskets 2 are forced to contact each other in a compressive condition to retain both water and air tight characteristics. And even in case of a fire, the gasket is prevented from rising in the temperature to maintain the water and air tightness so that the gasket 2 does not directly suffer the high temperature radiant heat and further, the high temperature air is prevented from transferring to the back side of the curtain wall.

摘要： PURPOSE:To control the time for hardening by compounding a high water-adsorptivity polymer which is swollen by water absorption with ready mixed cement and energizing the ready mixed cement via reinforcing bars disposed in the cement after placing to release the absorbed moisture and thereby regulating the setting of the ready mixed cement. CONSTITUTION:A proper volume of water is added and mixed to and with the high water-absorptivity polymer powder 1 of a sodium polyacrylate system, starch- polyacrylic acid system, PVA system, carboxymethylcellulose system, etc., to prepare the high water-absorptivity polymer grains 2 which are swollen by the water absorption. Aggregate 4 and a prescribed ratio of the high water-absorptivity polymer grains 2 are then added and mixed to and with the cement 3. This ready mixed cement is filled up and placed into forms previously disposed with the reinforcing bars and thereafter, several V/cm DC voltage is impressed to the reinforcing bars as electrodes. Consequently, the water is released from the high water-absorptivity polymer and the setting is accelerated by the hydration reaction of the cement. The cement is then compacted by applying oscillation thereto. The cement is thereafter rested to allow the aging to progress. The forms are removed and the hardened body of the ready mixed cement is obtd.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent an efflorescence generated on a facing material using a baked article such as a brick employed for the finishing coating of an external wall surface as a material by pasting mortar and a method of curing. CONSTITUTION:The external wall surface 11 of concrete, to which backing treatment is conducted, is covered with a polymer dispersion. The external wall surface is plastered with the kneaded mortar of the polymer dispersion and active silica, thus forming a mortar layer 13 in required thickness. Facing materials 1 by baked articles such as bricks having water absorption are pushed and pasted on the mortar layer 13 so that parts of kneaded mortar are swollen on joints 14 among the facing materials. The upper sections of the facing materials are covered with a sheet 16 for preventing water immersion, and the mortar layer is cured.
