    • PURPOSE:To obtain a three-dimensional woven fabric of unusual shaped cross section for a panel material fitted with a rib, by constituting yarn in the width direction between the top and the bottom layers of yarn in the length direction arranged in a shape consisting of a flat part with a given width thickness and plural projected parts protrusively set at one side of the flat part and setting vertical yarn between neighboring layers of the yarn in the width direction. CONSTITUTION:In constituting a three-dimensional woven fabric of modified cross section consisting of yarns in the mutually and perpendicularly intersecting length direction, width direction and vertical direction, comprising a flat part having the thickness extending in the length direction and plural lines of projected parts protrusively set at least one side of the flat part, a great number of yarns in the length direction are arranged in parallel with the unusual cross-section shape. Then the yarn in the width direction is inserted into between the layers of the vertically neighboring yarn in the length direction in the whole width at the flat part and in the whole width of the arranged yarn in the length direction at the protruded part while reciprocating the yarn in the width direction. The yarn in the vertical direction is inserted into between the layers of the yarn in the width direction, adjoining in the length direction and the yarn in the length direction and the yarn in the width direction are fastened so that the flat part and the protruded part are integrated.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a fiber-reinforced composite material, such as I-, H- or T-shaped cross section, excellent in strength by combining a structure, which is three-dimensional cloth, respectively composed of warp yarn, weft yarn and joining yarn and having recessed parts with a structure which is three-dimensional cloth, respectively composed of warp yarn, weft yarn and joining yarn and having protruding parts, sewing and bonding both structures, impregnating the bonded structures with a resin and curing the resin. CONSTITUTION:A fiber-reinforced composite material, such as I-, H- or T-shaped cross section, suitable as spar materials of aircraft, etc., building materials, etc., obtained by combining a structure 10, which is three-dimensional cloth, respectively composed of warp yarn, weft yarn and joining yarn and having cloth layers, composed of the warp yarn, weft yarn and joining yarn and bound in the thickness direction with the joining yarn in the central part or one side part in the width direction and flange parts (10d) of bisected cloth layers respectively bound in the thickness direction in the both side parts or one side part with a structure 20, which is three-dimensional cloth, respectively composed of warp yarn, weft yarn and joining yarn and having streaky protruding parts (20a) filling recessed parts of the above-mentioned flange parts (10d) in the central part of one side, sewing and/or bonding the structures, impregnating the resultant structures with a resin and curing the resin.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a three-dimensional woven fabric having uniform quality by forming a horizontal weft layer in the lateral direction of gaps between longitudinal core warps arranged in multiple steps and multiple rows and forming an inclined weft layer in the direction of the step and the direction of the row, thereby achieving multi-axial orientation and further improving the isotropy. CONSTITUTION:The opening motion of longitudinal core warps arranged in multiple steps and multiple rows is controlled by a jacquard machine while opening the bonding warps arranged between the rows of said core warps. Said core warps are lifted or lowered step by step and a weft is horizontally inserted in the direction of step from the top of the uppermost step to the bottom of the lowermost step in a meandering state to form a horizontal weft layer. At the same time, an inclined weft layer is formed by inserting a weft while successively lifting or lowering, one by one, the layer inclined against the directions of step and row of said core warp. The bonding warps are subjected to the next opening to exchange the upper and lower positions and, at the same time, said bonding warps are arranged in parallel along a plane perpendicular to the core warp to form a vertical yarn layer.

    • PURPOSE: To increase the bending strength and compression strength to prevent the flawing or cracking by inserting a number of lines of beams of an expanding fabric hardened with a resin in the longitudinal direction of the core body of a board. CONSTITUTION: In an expanding fabric 1 formed of a weft double fabric, surface and reverse plain weave fabrics are bonded and integrated by a bonding yarn 6 in the warp 4 direction passing a point A, and no bonding yarn is used in a point B, so that the surface and reverse plain weave fabrics can be separated every single layer. By use of, for example, glass roving as the warp 4, a weft 5 and the binding yarn 6, the warp and the weft are woven, and the binding yarn is inserted thereto. The surface and reverse fabrics not connected by the bonding yarn are vertically separated after weaving to insert a number of cores, and then hardened by impregnation with an epoxy resin. The cores are then pulled out, and the resulting fabric is cut into a necessary dimension to provide a core material for board. Further, the core material is properly treated, whereby a surf board is completed.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a high-strength structural member for composite resin material by controlling the number of layers of longitudinal yarn arranged to a pair of flanges placed at least one side of a web and placing a transversal yarn in a state meandering between a web and a flange or between the flanges. CONSTITUTION:The objective three-dimensional fabric is composed of longitudinal yarns 1, transversal yarns 4 and vertical yarns 3 and having a pair of parallelly formed upper and lower flanges B, C formed on at least one side of a lateral direction of a flat web A interposing a Y-formed part D. The number of the layers of the longitudinal yarn 1 arranged to said flanges B, C is made to be larger than 1/2 of the number of layers of the web A and larger than the layers of the flanges B, C at the Yformed part D. The 1st transversal yarn 4a is arranged in a meandering state between the upper half of the web A and the upper flange B, the 2nd transversal yarn 4b is arranged in the form of inverted U-shape extending between the lower side part of the upper flange B and the upper side part of the lower flange C and the 3rd transversal yarn 4c is arranged in a meandering state between the lower half of the web A and the lower flange C. The connection of the web A to the flanges B,C can be strengthened and the formation of dents in the extension of the flanges can be prevented by this structure.
