摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a liner excellent in the drawing ability, rigidity and the like, by forming a non-foamable skin layer made of propylene group polymer on each surface of a laminated foamed sheet formed of two bridged foamed sheets which are made of propylene group polymer and an ethylene group polymer and are laminated one upon another. CONSTITUTION:This trim for an automobile is produced by forming non- foamable skin layers 2, 3 made of propylene group polymer and ethylene group polymer, respectively on both front and back surfaces of a laminated foamed sheet 1 which is formed of two bridged foamed sheets 4, 5 made of polypropylene group polymer and ethylene group polymer and laminated one upon another through the intermediary of a thermally fused layer 6. In this arrangement, the ratio of the solid thickness Tf of the bridged foamed sheets 4, 5 and the thickness Ts of the non-foamable skin layers 2, 3, that is, Ts/Tf, is selected to be 1 to 50. Further, the thickness T1 of the thermally fused layer 6 is selected to be 1 to 0.5mm while it is to be 1 to 25% of the thickness Tr of the bridged foamed sheets 4, 5. With this arrangement, the moldability thereof is satisfactory so that a deep and sharp molded article having a good external appearance may be easily obtained by a thermoforming process.

摘要： PURPOSE:To contrive to save the weight of a trim itself and improve its resistance to shock, heat resistance, soundproofing property and the like by a method wherein two crosslinked foamed sheets, each of which consists of propylene- based polymer and ethylene-based polymer are laminated to each other. CONSTITUTION:A non-intumescent skin layer 3 is laminated to one side 6a of a crosslinked foamed sheet 6, which consists of propylene-based polymer and ethylene-based polymer, by extrusion-laminating a molten resin sheet 10 made of propylene-based polymer in order to mold a laminate A. At this time, uneven pattern 4 such as emboss pattern or the like is formed on the skin layer 3 by the uneven pattern of a hot pressing roll 9A. On the other hand, a non-intumescent skin layer 2 is laminated to one side 5a of a crosslinked foamed sheet 5, which consists of propylene-based polymer and ethylene-polymer, by extrusion-laminating the molten resin sheet 10 made of propylene-based polymer in order to mold a laminate B. The respective surfaces on the sides of the crosslinked foamed sheets 6 and 5 of both the laminates A and B are arranged face to face so as to be fixed by pressure with pressing rollers 17 and 17 while being melted with a hot melting means 16 in order to form a laminated material C.

Simultaneously, a decorative skin layer 4 is fixed by pressure to the skin layer 3 and cooled in order to mold a first laminate A with triple layer structure. A non-intumescent skin layer 2 is laminated to one side 5a of a crosslinked foamed sheet 5, which consists of propylene-based polymer and ethylene-based polymer, by extrusion-laminating the molten resin sheet 10 made of propylene-based polymer in order to mold a second laminate B. The respective surfaces on the sides of the crosslinked foamed sheets 6 and 5 of the laminates A and B are arranged face to face so as to be fixed by pressure while being melted by heating in order to form a laminated material C. At this time, a heat fusion layer 7 is formed at the pressure fixing portion. Finally, the laminated material is cut in lengths.

摘要： PURPOSE:To produce easily and economically a flexible foam having an open cell structure from a crosslinked thermoplastic resin foam having a closed cell structure, by heating the resin foam having a closed cell structure by contacting it with a water-based heating medium. CONSTITUTION:A crosslinked thermoplastic resin foam prepared by the use of a heat-decomposable blowing agent, is heated by contacting the resin foam with a water-based heating medium. The temperature of the heating medium is preferably 80 deg.C or higher, and the time of contact with the heating medium is preferably set within the range of 0.1-30min. Examples of the heat-decomposable blowing agent include azodicarbonamide and 4, 4'-oxybis(benzenesulfonylmincarbazide). The heating medium can be water itself or water containing a water-soluble compound which elevates the boiling point of the solution, such as polyethylene glycol or glycol.

Then, they are develped by rotating one of them at the joint line of the above-mentioned section and fused to each other. Thermoplastic resin foam sheets of polyethylene, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride, etc. can be used as thermoplastic foam sheets. Cutting, heating and fusing of the foam sheet may be conducted at the same time or heating and fusing after cutting may be done. In this way, foam sheets can be jointed with each other easily, quickly and uniformly and unevenness does not appear at the joint part.
