    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a vinyl chloride resin having a particle size distribution narrow enough to lower the fine content of the waste liquor and excellent impact resistance. SOLUTION: The process for producing a vinyl chloride resin is one for producing a vinyl chloride resin prepared by grafting a vinyl chloride-based vinyl monomer onto an acrylic copolymer (A) of a mean particle diameter of 60-250 nm obtained by grafting 10-60 wt.% (a) mixed monomer comprising 100 pts.wt. radical-polymerizable monomer based on a (meth)acrylate monomer which can give a homopolymer of a glass transition temperature of -55°C to below -10°C and 1.5-10 pts.wt. polyfunctional monomer onto 40-90 wt.% (B) copolymer comprising 100 pts.wt. radically polymerizable monomer which can give a homopolymer of a glass transition temperature of -140°C to below -60°C and 0.1-1 pt.wt. polyfunctional monomer, wherein a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether is used as an emulsifier/dispersant in the production of copolymer A.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molded product of a chlorinated vinyl chloride resin excellent in thermostability and smoothness and also excellent in anti SC prop erty and provide a pipe made of the chlorinated vinyl chloride resin. SOLUTION: The molded product of a chlorinated vinyl chloride resin is obtained by molding the chlorinated vinyl chloride resin which is prepared by chlorination of a vinyl chloride resin. The above molded product of the chlorinated vinyl resin is characterized in that the above vinyl chloride resin has a peak ratio (chlorine atom peak × 2/carbon atom peak) of 0.6 or more at the 1S bond energy value(eV) between carbon and chlorine atom in the surface analysis of particles by electron spectroscopy for chemical analysis(ESCA), the above chlorinated vinyl chloride resin has a chlorine content of 60-72 wt.%, void fraction of 30-40 vol.% determined at 196 MPa by mercury porosimetry and void volume of 0.001-0.1 μm which is 2-15 vol.% of a total void volume in the pore volume distribution determined under a pressure of 0-196 MPa by mercury porosimetry and the above molding product of the chlorinated vinyl chloride resin has a heat resisting temperature of 125 deg.C or more and a surface roughness Rmax of 4.0 μm or less.
