摘要： PURPOSE: To increase the ratio of a detecting area to the surface area of a detecting electrode and make a device compact by arranging a reinforcing electrode in the position facing the detecting electrode of a capacitance sensor at specified intervals. CONSTITUTION: A capacitance sensor 11 is constituted with a signal generating sensor board 9 which detects approach of an object with a detecting electrode 8 and flickers illumination, and a shield plate 10 which protects the electrode 8 and the board 9 from an electric noise. A flickering control means 12 is connected to the sensor 11 and illumination is flicked with a signal from the sensor 11. Since this device is usually installed on the wall surface and the installation position is standardized to specify the whole dimension, the size of the electrode 8 is also limited. By producing a front panel 1a of the electrode 8 with metal and using it as an auxiliary electrode, a detecting area is enlarged about 150%. The metal is selected from aluminium, an aluminium alloy, copper, and a copper alloy.

摘要： PURPOSE:To miniaturize a position detection device and enhance its precision by providing electrodes, one of which decreases its electrostatic capacity and the other increases it according to movement of a slider and converting differ ence between their electrostatic capacities into time delay by an integration circuit to make it a positional detection signal. CONSTITUTION:A bottom case 1 is grounded through a metal terminal 1b. A top case 2 is fixed to the bottom case 1, so that a slider 4 arranged movably in single direction on a groove 1a of the bottom case 1, is sandwiched between them. On a board 3, electrodes Ea and Eb are allocated, and according to the movement of the slider 4, the width of one electrode increases and that of the other electrode decreases at all times, thus, electrostatic capacity decreases and increases. The slider 4 consists of a knob 4a and a contact chip 4b, and the contact chip 4b is pressed and brought into contact with a side wall 1c for electrical conduction, and it can move while keeping a specified interval from the electrodes Ea and Eb.
