    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knock out mouse having disorders in a synthetic system of heparan sulfate.
      SOLUTION: The knockout mouse suppressed or deleted in expression of the enzyme activity of a protein having activity to transfer a sulfate group to the carbon atom at 6 position of a hexosamine group existing in the basic skeleton of heparan sulfate encoded by a gene is produced by deleting the gene encoding the enzyme having activity to transfer the sulfate group to the carbon atom at 6 position of the hexosamine group existing in the basic skeleton of heparan sulfate and comprising a base sequence having a specific sequence or ≥90% homogeny to the base sequence.
