    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining device for thin metal sheets reinforcing joined strength by positively increasing the rate of overhanging of both side edges of punched parts in a plurality of rolled thin metal sheets, in case of oppositely arranging a punch in the upper side of a die and combining them, layer plural superposed thin metal sheets between them and joining by punching and rolling. SOLUTION: In the device 11 wherein the anvil 14 having a pair of blades 15 projecting the upper end surface a little higher then the upper surface of a pedestal part 14b and being held so as to open and the punch 13 oppositely arranged in the upper side of the anvil 14 are provided in both sides of the pedestal part 14b, plural superposed thin metal sheets 18, 19 are laid between the anvil 14 and the punch 13, thin metal sheets 18, 19 are punched by the cooperation of the anvil 14 and the punch 13 and rolled, both side edges B of the punched part are overhanged in the back surface side of thin metal sheets and thin metal sheets 18, 19 are joined, the pedestal part 14b so formed into a truncated cone shape reducing the horizontal cross section toward the upper side, gaps S are formed between the side surfaces of the pedestal part 14b and the side surface of the blades 15 and both side edge B are overhanged into gaps S.

    • PURPOSE:To surely join two members by providing a york supporting a punch and a die freely vertically movably, a slide york supporting one of them freely vertically movably, a power unit arranged below it and having a vertical ram and a push up base on the tip of the vertical ram. CONSTITUTION:In front of a york 12 and a slide york 13 having a punch 10 and a die 11 to upset and transform, calk and join a prescribed place of a lapped part between two members is arranged an elevating/lowering plate 1 supporting a pallet supporting the two members to be joined so that it can move freely back and forth, up and down. The flange parts on the long sides and short sides of a cylindrical body A and plural places of a cover body D can be calked and joined by selecting and using the punch and die supported by the slide york through the front and rear motion of the slide york 13. In this way, drilling for riveting, etc., is not required, joining is performed by using a punch and a die only and joining of two members can be always performed under a favorable state.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix a stud to a sheet by a flange and an expanded part with sufficient strength by inserting a hollow cylindrical part in a through hole in the sheet to closely attach the flange to a sheet surface, pressing a spherical body larger in diameter than the inside diameter of the hollow cylindrical part to expand a part projecting from the sheet. SOLUTION: The length L of a hollow cylindrical part 4 of a stud 1 projecting from a sheet 6 is set to be larger than the radius R of a spherical body 5 to be pressed into a shaft hole 3. Since the spherical body 5 is held in the shaft hole 3 of the hollow cylindrical part 4 expanded by the press-fitting of the spherical body 5, the specified tightening strength is maintained without contracting the hollow cylindrical part 4. Since the spherical body 5 seals an opening end of the shaft hole 3 and left behind, water is prevented from entering the shaft hole 3, and the rust-preventive performance of a joined part of the sheet 6 with the stud 1 is improved. When the length L of the hollow cylindrical part 4 is set to be smaller than the radius R of the spherical body 5, the spherical body 5 expands the hollow cylindrical part 4 to be semi-spherical, and is dropped to enable the recycling.

    • PURPOSE:To allow everyone to handle the connecting device and connect a louver body structure with high operating efficiency by loading a jig aligning and holding a louver base and louvers on a pallet, intermittently moving and carrying the pallet to a connecting position, and driving punches and dies by a power actuator so that they are close together. CONSTITUTION:A louver base 2 and louvers 3 are set on a jig 10, a lifting/lowering table 60 is raised to the upper limit position by a cylinder 63, a pallet 20 is moved above the tip part of the lifting/lowering table 60 indicated by chain lines by a cylinder 30, and the jig 10 is loaded on the pallet 20. Then, the pallet 20 is advanced by the cylinder 30 toward a connecting position P, and when the parts (m) to be connected on the front row A of a louver body structure 1 on the jig 10 are carried to the connecting position P, the pallet 20 is stopped, the lifting/lowering table 60 is lowered for the tips of dies 41 to abut against the undersides of the parts (m) to be connected on the front row A of the louver body structure 1, and a power actuator 50 is driven to lower punches 40 to calk and connect the parts (m) to be connected on the front row A in the lump. The pallet 20 is then advanced by one pitch by the cylinder 30, and the parts (m) to be connected on the middle row B of the louver body structure 1 are calked and connected in a lump.
