摘要： PURPOSE: To obtain a device, for joining a sheet metal, by which a side seamed engaging parts of a sheet metal structure such as a microwave oven are firmly pressed and joined between an upper and lower dies even if such engaging parts are present in a narrow space. CONSTITUTION: The device is provided with a vertically movable press table 12 for supporting an upper die 11, in which a side seamed engaging part 8 of the end part where a horizontal sheet metal 2 and a vertical sheet metal 1 are crossed orthogonally with each other is fitted; oscillating arm 13 that oscillates and rotates on the side of the press table 12; upper die 11 fixed at the tip end of the oscillating arm 13; elevating mechanism 14 that vertically moves the rear end of the oscillating arm 13; and link 16 of which pins 17, 18 at both ends are rotatably connected to the middle part of the oscillating arm 13 and to a supporting body 15. When the rear end of the oscillating arm 13 is vertically moved by the elevating mechanism 14, the upper die 11 moves in a circular-arcuate motion that is determined by the space between the pins 17, 18 of the link 16 and moves immediately above the side seamed engaging part 8; in this state, by pushing up the upper die 11, the side seamed engaging part 8 is pressed and joined.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of part items and connecting points of a drum and simplify assembly work and manhours by assembling a casing by connecting the drum, formed by molding a lengthy panel plate into a polygonal cylindrical shape, to a polygonal base plate. SOLUTION: A polygonal cylindrical drum 16 is carried to an assembly jig unit 20 after forming it by bending a panel plate 13 at a specified angle for each specified bending position by a multibender 14 at a bending work station Qb. In the meantime, a polygonally molded base plate 19 is carried to the assembly jig unit 20, and a connection margin 19a of the base plate 19 and the drum 16 are overlapped on each other. Thereby, an overlapped portion is connected at a specified point at each of first and second connecting units 21, 22. Consequently, it is possible to assemble a casing 25 with the drum 16 and the base plate 19 respectively as a side frame plate and a bottom plate.

摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce a cycle time in a hemming device. CONSTITUTION:A cam mechanism for operating a pre-hemming mechanism 24, by which a preliminary bending blade D to perform the preliminary bending of a hem flange B is supported, is separated into a lower cam mechanism 30 for the purpose of pressing the movable member of the pre-hemming mechanism in the direction of the preliminary bending and an upper cam mechanism 31 for the purpose of operating the lower cam mechanism; and after completing the preliminary bending, the upper cam mechanism 31 is retreated, and the pressing is released which is imparted by the lower cam mechanism 30 in the direction of the preliminary bending of the movable member. Thus, at the time of raising an upper die after the completion of hemming process, the reactivation of the preliminary bending blade D is eliminated.
