    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply direct-current power produced in an electromotive force device directly to a direct-current load, such as a telephone set, requiring a plug with a rectifying circuit at any time, including nighttime, with low loss, without a plug and with a rectifying circuit. SOLUTION: A power conditioner 10 for electromotive force devices is provided with a direct current-to-alternating current converter 2, a direct current-to- direct current converter 3, and a rectifying circuit 20. The direct current-to- alternating current converter 2 converts direct-current power from a solar cell 1 into alternating-current power, and supplies the alternating-current power to a commercial power supply 14 through an alternating-current power line 21. The rectifying circuit 20 converts alternating-current power into direct- current power and supplies the direct-current power to a terminal section 22. The direct current-to-direct current converter 3 adjusts the potential of direct- current power from the solar cell 1 and supplied the potential-adjusted direct- current power to the terminal section 22. The terminal section 22 is formed on the surface of the enclosure of the power conditioner 10 for electromotive force devices, and the plug for a cord 23 to which a direct-current load 16 is connected can be inserted into the terminal section 22.

    • PURPOSE:To sharply improve a solar cell of this design in impact resistance by a method wherein a transparent buffer layer is provided between a filler layer and a transparent weather-resistant film. CONSTITUTION:A filler layer 2 of FVA is laid on a slate tile 1, a solar cell element 3 is laid thereon, and a filler layer 2 of EVA is made to overlap, a transparent buffer layer 6 of silicone rubber or the like and PET are successively laminated thereon, and the whole laminated piece is heated at a temperature of 150 deg.C for 40 minutes or so in a vacuum of 10 Torr with a laminating device, whereby the solar cell element 3 end the slate tile 1 can be formed into an integral structure. Provided that an amorphous silicon solar element formed on a glass board of 1.1 is used as the solar cell element 3, a silicone rubber 1mm thick is used as a buffer layer 6, a PET film 4 is formed as thick as 100mum, when an integral structure composed of these components is subjected to an impact test based on a [impact test method of building board] prescribed in JIS A 1421-1981, both the solar cell element 3 and the slate tile are hardly damaged, so that the integral structure concerned meets the requirements of JIS as a roof building materiel.

    • PURPOSE:To track the sun by a simple constitution, by providing a solar battery on a floating body, which is arranged on the water, attaching containers to said floating body, adjusting the weights of the containers, thereby adjusting the inclination of the floating body. CONSTITUTION:A mounting frame 3 is provided on a main body 2 o a floating body, which is arranged on the water. A solar battery 1 is attached to the mounting frame 3. Containers 6a and 6b are suspended from both ends of the main body 2 of the floating body 2, i.e., both ends of the aligning direction of the solar battery. A required amount of liquid is injected into the containers 6a and 6b by a control circuit 10. The amount of the liquid in the containers is controlled in correspondence with the movement of the sun, and the main body 2 of the floating body is inclined. Thus, the furnace of the solar battery can be directed toward the sun accurately.
