    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent fault from being erroneously detected by comparing an input signal to an amplifier circuit with an attenuated output signal from the amplifier circuit so as to detect the fault. SOLUTION: A signal generated from a signal source 27 is amplified by an input stage amplifier 18 and its output signal is given to a compactor circuit 23. An output signal from a 1st output stage amplifier 20 is attenuated by an attenuation circuit 22 and the attenuated signal is fed to the circuit 23. Then the circuit 23 compares both output signal levels and generates an output signal corresponding to the difference and the signal is given to a window comparator 24. A 1st and 2nd comparator sections 24a, 24b of the comparator 24 compares the signal with a 1st reference voltage and a 2nd reference voltage higher than the 1st reference voltage. When the output signal level of the circuit 23 is between the reference voltages, no signal is produced from the comparator 24, but the comparator 24 generates a signal when the output signal from the circuit 23 is at the outside of both the reference voltage, and the signal is given to a stop circuit 25, which provides an output of a stop signal and it stops a bias generating circuit 26 thereby stopping the operating of each amplifier. Thus, there is no phase delay between the output voltage and the output current so as to prevent the fault from being erroneously detected.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent a break of audio sounds due to erroneous detection of fault caused by lightning strokes and line-to-ground fault. CONSTITUTION:One output signal of an output amplifier 21 is inverted by an inversion circuit 22. The other output signal of the output amplifier 21 and the output signal of the inversion circuit 22 are applied to transistors TRs 25 and 24 and are compared. The output signal of a comparison circuit 23 which is generated in accordance with the comparison result is applied to a window comparator 28 and is compared with first and second prescribed values determined by resistances 33 to 35. At the time of the occurrence of fault due to lightning strokes and ground fault, the output signal of the comparison circuit 23 is smaller than the first prescribed value and is larger than the second prescribed value, and therefore, the output signal of the window comparator 28 is applied to a stop circuit 12, and a bias current is not supplied to the output amplifier 21, and this amplifier 21 is not operated, and output TRs are protected from breakdown.

    • PURPOSE:To detect the load connecting state with simple constitution by generating an output signal representing it that the load is not correctly connected when a difference of output currents from 1st and 2nd current detection circuits is a prescribed value or over. CONSTITUTION:The detection circuit is provided with a check mode setting circuit 29 generating a check mode signal for conducting check and an offset generating circuit 31 generating an offset voltage from an input stage amplifier section in response to the check mode signal. Moreover, a 1st current detection circuit 21 detecting a current flowing to a 1st load in response to the offset voltage and a 2nd current detection circuit 22 detecting a current flowing to a 2nd load in response to the offset voltage. Moreover, a current difference detection circuit 23 detecting whether or not a difference between output currents of the 1st and 2nd current detection circuits 21, 22 is within a prescribed range is provided. Thus, the connection state between an amplifier and a load is correctly detected.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the high output of a BTL amplifying circuit. SOLUTION: When first and fourth output transistors 15 and 18 are turned on, a voltage at the connecting point of first and second driving transistors 19 and 20 drops and when second and third output transistors 16 and 17 are turned on, a voltage at the connecting point of third and fourth driving transistors 21 and 22 drops. Thereby a voltage difference between the collectors and emitters between first and second input transistors 2 and 3 and first and second current source transistors 13 and 14 is extended to prevent the saturation of the first and second current source transistors 13 and 14. Thus, the saturation voltage of the BTL amplifier circuit is decided by the saturation voltage between the collector and the emitter of the first to fourth output transistors 15 to 18.
