    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently wash an article mounted on the rack of another step even when a nozzle of the uppermost step is removed by installing a water supply passage which is connected to a supply port formed in the ceiling part in a washing tank and to which water is supplied from the supply port when the rack of the uppermost step is set in a washing tank. SOLUTION: An upper nozzle 23 is installed freely rotatably in the lower part of an upper step rack UR, and the nozzle 23 is attached to a water supply shaft 24. The shaft 24, when the upper step rack UR is set in a washing tank 20, is arranged to contact the supply port 25 attached to the ceiling of the washing tank 20, and washing water, etc., when supplied from a supply pipe to the supply port 25, are ejected from the upper and lower ejection ports of the upper nozzle 23 through the water supply shaft 24. Besides, when the upper step rack UR is removed, the position of a fixed nozzle 25a is kept by the force of a spring, the supply port 25 itself moves downward relatively, so that the washing water, etc., are dispersed and ejected effectively by the increase in the dispersion angle of a water flow.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic rod washing machine capable of substantially reducing the burdens of a hairdresser or the like by automatically performing a series of operations including the washing and sorting of rods after being used for permanent wave. SOLUTION: When the rods RP with paper pieces after being used for permanent wave are fed from a feeding port, washing water is supplied inside a water tank 14, a rotation part 19 is rotated alternately in forward and backward directions and the rods RP with the paper pieces are washed. Also, the rotation part 19 is rotated in the forward direction, tentatively stopped and then rotated in the backward direction and the paper pieces P are separated from the rods RP with the paper pieces. The separated paper pieces P are made to flow along the flow of a water stream by jetting from a nozzle 16 and contained in a mesh-like paper piece receiving bascket 22. After waste water is discharged, a bottom plate 12 or the like is inclined and the rods R inside the water tank 14 are led to a sorting plate 51. The rods R are guided along a carrying direction D, fall from the slits 52a-52e of corresponding widths and are housed in a rod housing container B.

    • PURPOSE: To omit coupling parts for connection of pipings and an opening valve by directly connecting a pressure-feed tube of a pressure-feed pump to a branch part which is integrally moulded with a discharge tube. CONSTITUTION: A discharge tube 31 can be directly connected to a hot water storage tank and a pump, so parts for connection to these can be reduced. In addition, a main body part 31a of the discharge tube 31 is integrally formed as a single part with branch parts 31b, 31c as connection parts to pressure-feed tubes 74, 75 to feed shampoo liquid or the like under pressure, so coupling structures for connection of parts to each other can be omitted. The pressure- feed tubes 74, 75 can thus be directly connected to the discharge tube 31, and coupling parts for connection of pipings are not required, so the number of parts can be reduced. Because a pressure-feed pump device to feed shampoo liquid or the like is provided with a valve function, use of a solenoid opening valve, etc., can be omitted. The number of parts can thus be reduced, and constitution of the pipings can be extremely simplified.
